Peter Ariz is and has been a Cam Hater but wasn't spewing that nonsense while he was here...

Cam Ward made this team last year and though he made ALL of us mad at times this team was in every game we were in because of him...

Now since the Titans are garbage...Cam is trash

Pete should stick with soccer and trying to be cool...

On the CIS podcast today he was going in on Cam...

Basically, saying that Mario and Dawson made him since he was a low to last round draft pick...

TO machine at WSU and was Mid until got here...

And that if Beck gets us to 10-2 that shows you how Cam was mid and this would be a better season in historical context than last year...

Lot more crazy chit but that's kind of the gist of it...

All I remember him saying is Cam is not having a good year since he doesn’t not have Mario’s o-line and ball control offense. That’s paraphrased…. I never heard him say anything bad about cam. I could have missed it though.

The other part he said was we haven’t done ish in 20 years maybe we need to recalibrate what a successful season is. He said he’d be happy with 10-2 even if we miss the playoffs because it still shows we are on the right trajectory especially since we haven’t done ish in 20 years. That’s paraphrased as well.

I heard that part also about him being a projected 6th round pick until he got here. I think that’s facts though and I’m not defending the coaching staff.
 
He went in on Mario recruiting too saying he’s supposed to be an elite recruiter and getting the 7th and currently 11th recruiting class is not elite and not good enough since he’s supposedly an “elite recruiter” seems to me he was alluding to on that that Mario needs to recruit better to overcome his shortcomings since he is labeled as an elite recruiter

He was and no disagreement on that; that's why he came back to school (UM) to prove the evaluators wrong...

But to use that (or the Titans record) to say he wasn't talented or he was MID until he got around Mario and Dawson is BS

Cam was lighten it up at Incarnate Word and WSU but the TEAM around him wasn't that good...

AND playing in the ACC and on TV/Prime Time more showed people that didn't know much about him what he could do...

Dude bet on himself and won...plain and simple

100% agree with him on this. Mario was brought in to recruit and he has yet to do so. We are signing Manny type classes with bust after bust. We’ve signed one legit NFL talent out of high school since Mario became the coach. Francis. Is there anyone I’m missing?
