Somehow...

They lose that game in the past (duh)

Probably should temper the national title talks as they're still a work in progress, but we saw what having a QB like Cam can do. Even when they play like ****, they can come back. I'll take it.
Yeah look at the rankings. Us, Oregon, Penn St etc

Oregon has looked terrible at times. Penn st has been awful at times. Bama had a **** of a time with south Florida, even OSU was having fits with Marshall for a good chunk of their game

College football is about as wide open as we’ve seen it

If that’s the new standard of a bad game for us I’m thrilled. I mean less turnovers and missed tackles alone could have had us up 17. But you need these games. I think we slowly pull away from Cal and then hopefully get healthy for Louisville. Getting Bain and Rivers back changes a lot.

I don’t like trying to forecast portal qb’s but is Cal an audition for that kid potentially?

I bet teams like ND, USC, Texas A&M, wish they got lucky in the games they lost. Louisville may be on this list today too.

I’m totally convinced 80% of this board doesn’t watch the games. This couldn’t be more wrong if you said Restrepo spontaneously combusted on the field, his dustbody was captured into an urn by Elvis and cam held the football out and his it with his **** like a fungo bat and it flew into the top of the urn and stuck in it like a wedgie in a basketball game.

And with that, it’s bedtime. We played ****** ball overall, and won. Good teams do that. 5-0 is 5-0. Go Canes.
Exactly. Restrepo slipped on his cut as the ball was being released, not because it was thrown behind him.

The good news is that VaTech brought their A game and we brought our C game…and still won. The bad is that we can’t tackle.
The question is it that we can't tackle overall, or did we just have a bad tackling game? We had as many missed tackles in this game as in the previous 4 games combined. So hopefully it was just a bad game.
