Insane that some of the schools in the region let dunningan get away.

No hot takes on the backup QB position
This isn’t a true spring practiSe update till one is thrown in
Prepare for disappointmentNoooooooooooo
Don't forget Blount.5 stars are gonna 5 star.
Its time for Lightfoot and Scott to put college football on notice. We saw flashes last season but not much was expected of them in terms of consistently making splash plays. Now they are the old heads in the room and the freak athletes.
They are built like the athletes we saw at Bama for the past 10 years. Flashed as freshmen/sophomores and dominated as juniors/seniors
Lightfoot already bigger than Brian Burns same period of time. If he takes the next step with that spin move he is going to be lethal on 3rd and longs.Lightfoot with more good weight and a rush plan bro..He flashed some insane bend and strength with elite agility and motor already
Dunnigan at safety is the right move for his early development, i think he’s similar to jakobe
It's all love good brotha, just poking funWasn't my take, just passing it along. But it was from someone who would be able to compare apples to apples.
BS, 19-0, after we run through CFB we're going to jump into the NFL playoffs and kick all their asses too.16-0
D, what's the word on McCoy? I've never been a fan, thought he was a real weak link at OG last year, see the last play of the NC game, but do you think he'll be a much better fit at OT?McCoy, Jamal Meriweather and Demetrius Campbell.
Good teams reload, it’s what they do. DL is where we have unquestionably had the most recruiting success save maybe portal QBs.Still a little uncomfortable/shocking to be so excited about the DL when we just lost the best DE duo that’s ever played here
Who wins out the starting job between Lightfoot and Lowe? It’s still very early in spring, but I’m a big believer in first impressions. Here are some tidbits from spring:
- We are going to rush the passer. Marquise Lightfoot in particular looks like he could have a big season. He’s added about 10 pounds, but more importantly he’s sharpened his pass rush repetoire. His spin move is becoming a weapon. Justin Scott is another one who may be reaching a new level. They watched Bain and Mesidor’s journeys and want similar success for themselves.
- I am very encouraged by what I’m seeing out of Jackson Cantwell. He is not a finished product by any means, but he is further along at left tackle than I anticipated. When he gets his hands on someone, it’s over. Max Buchanan is also impressing at right guard. Fluid and physical.
- Josh Moore and Somourian Wingo are two of the most natural athletes on the team. Both have made spectacular contested catches in the early going.
- Somebody who would know told me that Gavin Mueller reminds him of a young Jeremy Shockey.
- Chase Smith is wearing #9 and he has a lot of people asking, “Who is that?” Health is always going to be the key variable, but we have a unique combination of size, age and underlying athleticism between Smith and Mo Toure.
- Omar Thornton is playing safety and throwing himself around like a missile. Nickel has been a wide-open competition with a lot of names involved. JJ Dunnigan is playing boundary safety for now, but some around the program feel he could play any position in the secondary including outside corner.
- One younger guy who has been tough to block: freshman DT Logan Nagle.
Dawson, don't fook this up.
Omar gonna be a problem with Hetherman. Every writer has mentioned him as a standout.
It’s an interesting dilemma, in mirabal recent interview he says mccoy is in a big leadership role now…If cantwell is the lt, max is the rg, what if mccoy’s transition to a new position doesn’t go wellD, what's the word on McCoy? I've never been a fan, thought he was a real weak link at OG last year, see the last play of the NC game, but do you think he'll be a much better fit at OT?

I think they have to find a way to get Mueller on the field. Big difference between him and Shockey. Shockey showed up weighing 215. Meuller is already near 260.
