Some things I worry about....

1. Are we expecting too much from Manny as a first time head coach. To me he has seemed like a head coach for the last 3 years. Defense has dominated and he exceeded ALL my expectation as a DC every year. Why can't he do that as an actual Head Coach? I think there is going to be a lot of pressure on him to beat UFag and win the Coastal. Our schedule is set up to do so, but the pressure to do it as expected. Here is to hoping the best for Manny and I like to think he will do fine.
2. How will this new Offense click. I know Enos has the talent, but can he get our men together to run the offense correctly and even more so, efficiently so we can score an average of 30 pts. a game. If he can, then we should have a fun season. I think he will be able to, but who knows with our QB situation (I hope is good) and our O-Line. We definitely need a couple new guys on that O-Line to really step up and perform to help Dan.
3. LB position we are a little thin, however, I do think we can move 1-2 guys around and give them reps to suffice. Hopefully the boys hurt (at least one of them) can get back in time to help us by Gayturd time or the freshmen Brooks can kick tail. Hope to be alright, but one injury away from being in "oh ****" mode.
That is it. Opinions welcome. One other thing I worry about, will my drinkin' this year be because the season is fun or to drown my sorrows?

Made the commitment and will be at game 1 but
- OL (enough said)
- first game for HC... every
- first game under new Coordinators
- (hopefully) start for our QB
- Pretty much a home game for the Gators

I am confident we will be a much better team at the end of the year

I don’t even drink during games. The only time I drank during a game was 2015 against FSU at a bar in Chicago and 2017 against ND I started pounding them after Rosiers td to make it 14-0.
 
We going to be just fine the front seven is going take a lot of pressure off the secondary the defense going be better than 2017 the offense going to more focused with a hunger Kosi isn't a bad quarterback he just didn't have nobody enforce the standard he all CANE you seen it in the Florida State game with enos he get direction just look at florida QB the year before Mullin terrible now with a real coach totally transformed that plays to his strength with the offense the line is going to be nasty this team got all the making of 2002 deep at every position watch the show change a mind change the character that's what MANNY doing that's why he said to go the extra mile them miami players changing the culture once you believe. it and see it the result the powerful THE NEW MIAMI

A question... in 89 I spent a week at a Rolling Meadows' Holiday Inn while attending Motorola service training. The large bar there was the bomb... on Tuesdays was country night and it filled up with babes in country attire... learned to dance "line dancing" and met some hotties. Is that by you and is it still there.

Rolling Meadows is about 45 minutes from me. I am familiar with the area. Played travel hockey there a lot growing up. That’s a northwest suburb. I live about 20 minutes south of the city. As far south you could go before you get into the south suburbs.

I just looked it up and the Holiday Inn looks newer. Unless they renovated it I’m not sure if that’s the same one.

I'm worried that none of the Quarterbacks is good enough. I though Williams gave us the best chance, but it appears he may not be ready. I don't have much confidence in Perry (admittedly based on his performance in a crap offense) or Tate (Doug's Flutie's are few and far between).

Hes closer to Kyler Murry, Baker Mayfield, Johnny Manziel an Russel Wilsons height than Flutie! This kid is a gamer seems like a Johnny Football that actually gives a fuxk about being better! Him movin the sticks as a runner will open up his passing game somethin none of us will get to see till live ball cause Qbs usually have to play touch! I think this kid is going to light it up ill take his connfidence an gamer attitude over Kosi lookin lost like a deer in the head lights anyday! Just imo

The people who go by what they hear from reporters (who saw 15 minutes of practice) are the one's who don't know football. They don't know what to look for so they rely on other people's opinions and regurgitate them. I'm on record saying Tate is the best QB as soon as he steps in the QB room and I was right. People who think Kosi and/or Jarren have a shot at starting are either in denial or don't know football. Simple as that.

Your not very smart are you.18 years of mediocrity and you expect a nc in the second season.even with today's technology some things take time to be made for instance tobassco 3 yrs,Jim beam 7, and wine.it takes time to build a 2001 type team can't be done in year one of two.but I guess you don't understand being the great one shot wonder.which means 3 pumps(30 seconds) your done.

Most defenses will eventually be exploited when the offense can't stay on the field & they're continually losing the field position battle. Manny's aggressive/attacking style defense (which isn't going anywhere) is much more effective playing downhill with a lead. There's no telling how much a competent offense & punting game will help this defense. I actually think they'll be better than last year's once our safties get settled in.
