Some Stock Up/Stock Down Imo

This is for the whole season, but mainly with a focus on the last couple games

Stock Up:
Ward (obviously props to those who knew how good he was….I loved that we got him, but thought he had some major flaws)
Horton
Arroyo
M.Bryant- (Needs more snaps somehow…Absolutely all over the field)
Aguirre Potential stud
D.Hill- (I think he’s been best DB last 2 weeks, best tackler for sure)
Bissainthe- (has taken next step)

Stock Down:
Richards (not terrible, but not good…Need Damari Brown back)
Cooper (Still will be an NFL player and has had a nice career, but just not as good as last season, interior not creating the holes we need to see)
S.Brown (all the tools, but a little soft?. may be nitpicking but between the drops and tiptoeing after the catch?)
J.Harris (not giving up on him at all…He’s definitely active but sloppy. Was he nicked up vs. VT? )

Almost included Kiki and Powell for too many missed tackles, but I still think they are plus players and will give them a chance to rebound. Both were bad in space vs. VT as many have pointed out.

Cooper also hurt his ankle and I know Mario immediately said he was gonna play, but there’s no way it’s a coincidence that the guy has been struggling a bit

An ankle for a guy that big is gonna be a huge problem we just literally can’t afford another OL injury

Good point. Hopefully the bye week gets him right.

Well then we need a QB with Graham Mertz skills

Kiko has never been any good at thinking and reacting and being in coverage

Put a statue in front of the defense and they can just attack

wes didn't have a great game. Hill is ok but not that strong. Cooper might be battling the injury.
Kiko stock down, Powell its tough because he's overcompensating for Richard.
 
Tackling sucked. No way around it. It’s not an easy run. Conference games take a toll. Depth, depth, depth. The tourney puts depth at an absolute premium. These reps for Bell will prove huge when/if we need to leave him on an island on 3rd & 14 in the tourney. These games need to happen. Tourney teams will win them and left outs will lose them. The tourney structure changes the approach. Margin for error increased, but mostly for SEC/Big10. Neither Bama nor Georgia was negatively impacted in regards to the tourney. The Canes(ACC) aren’t afforded that luxury. Earning the bye week in the tourney will be HUGE. Wins are wins. Style points ain’t gonna do us any good imo. My $0.02.
