is this @Coach Macho ?
More like a 3-4 DT. He had all of the tools to have been great, but he was lazy and apathetic. Funny that you say he now looks like a DE. The very first time I saw him play was his sophomore year in high school, he played at Garfield, same as Antoine Winfield (pound for pound the best tackler I’ve ever seen), they were playing one of the better local Catholic schools, Archbishop Hoban in what was then called the Backyard Brawl, as the school’s were located about 5 mins apart from each other. At halftime my not so sober brother pointed him out as he walked onto the field. We hadn’t seen him in the first half, we later found out that he had been suspended for the start off the game for some reason. He was a bad kid, just spoiled and entitled. He was easily 6’1” and over 200 lbs which was a big back in this area 20 years ago, so he stood out. I said, **** number 28 is big. I bet he’s a defensive end. He was taller than most lineman on both teams. My brother looked and said, “he might be a running back”. I said, “*****, you’re tripping”. Ain’t no way that big Marcellus Wallace looking boy is back. Well, first play from scrimmage in the 3rd quarter Garfield runs the USC toss sweep, student body right…,80 years untouched to the house. I just looked at my brother, dapped him up and said he’s from a future all-American. He reminded me of Marcus Dupree, he was 230 by his senior year, completely dominant at times, but was softer than baby **** and would quit at the first sign of adversity.I thought Beanie Wells was going to be a Pro Bowler. He's on CBS now and he looks like a defensive end.
