We didn’t have much offensive rhythm but yeah I get you. Cam is capable as well. We have the skill players to sustain some punishing drives but not the OL at the moment.

I was waiting to see plays from that first drive later in game. Your first 15 are scripted and he knew what works. Dont stop until they make adjustments again.

That was frustrating to me. I mentioned it in another thread but the first drive was very solid. You could see the motions and formations working. Then it just sorta stopped.

My guess would be because of the time getting the play in resulted in delay of games and false starts.

I think UVAs schedule is not generous. They play at Pitt. They have to play us at Hard Rock and FSU. Not to mention playing at Notre Dame non conference. That is all within the first 7 weeks. They could be pretty beat up by the time they face us even though they have a bye the week before our game.

Yeah I think we forget before that horrible stretch he was reliable. But I hear ya, tough to shake off those memories.

What surprised me early in his career was how relentlessly he would run, but not fumble for a young guy.

Was nice to see him pull away for the TD so we didn’t have to listen to 6 months worth of bull**** about Feely and Deejays weight again
 
Jarren has been the starter for what, a week and a half? A very tough assignment first out. The moment didn't seem to big for him. Neither did the pass rush. Big positive.

Let’s we what they look like against Pitt week 1 and when they play FSU week 4 I think. We actually want them to lose both of those games, but if we handle our business it shouldn’t matter.

Not happy with score but Mullins is a good coach, he had MSU looking respectable annually and he has a veteran stable staff. I’m going to focus on the positives of the game and hope that manny keeps the gas on like he did yesterday, long season. With the final score I’m sure there were a ton of UM fans that made money on the game since they took the bet of uF winning by 7 by vegas.

I think on paper you are correct.

Schematically though, tough to say. We have glaring weaknesses that an inferior team could definitely exploit. You could argue Florida was an inferior team to be honest. Man they suck.
