Some of my tidbits from the Bethune Cookman game

Great take SFBay.

DT might be the deepest position we have been at that position in the last two decades. Darrell Jackson looks and plays the part. LT56 in blossoming and he should make more plays next to him. Mesidore plays DT on passing downs, and Lichtenstein, Moultre, and the rest can all start on just about any ACC team, except maybe Clemson.

DEs were average, not outstanding. DEs need to get more pressure, more sacks and better contain.

I will be interested to see what changes or adjustments the Canes coaches make for next week. Many of these mistakes are correctable, but these mistakes must move from the correctable category to the corrected category if the Canes plan to have a great season.

I was very impressed with the offensive play calls and execution. 7-7 on third down and a score on every possession (except the fumble in the red zone after the KR), is impressive.

It was remarkable to see how much the OL really improved. I haven’t seen OL play like this since Stoutland was coaching the OL.

Not a single dropped pass all game.

Great point regarding the D Ends. I tried to limit my review to stuff that I could see at field level and less about overall play, which many others have covered.
Regarding the D Ends I will say that they were playing with big motors but were overly aggressive in chasing the QB and not focusing on containment.

The one item in my write up that no one mentioned is the improvement in leg strength in Borregales. The ball was jumping off his foot on Saturday. Last year he struggled to get kicks to the five yard line. Last weekend not only was he putting them five yards into the end zone but those kicks had good height/hang time to them.

Yeah he was the guy who went to Florida as a four star and then immediately got kicked out and then his roommate Chris Steele transferred out. Supposedly a really weird dude. But clearly has four star level athleticism
WOW!! That was him?? I remember this story because Chris Steele ended up getting the **** outta dodge because buddy did some sexual assault type stuff in their dorm room on a chick or something and he requested a room change and the UF staff told him to wait it out and Steele said, no way! Im out! Went back home to USC. LOL. ****. Didnt know that was him. Okay it makes sense now why he just didnt look like a usual BC QB. LOL.

Probably the best hit of the night goes to Balom. He crushed a guy.
Im wondering how much longer hes gonna sit behind the Big 3 before he decides to transfer out and be a starter somewhere else. Hes definitely the King of Patience. Kudos to him for sticking it out at least this season.

Yeah he looked pretty solid a couple years ago when he got burn too. He could surely play somewhere

Can anyone offer a reasonable explanation of why an official was on the field and in the way of K Smith’s kick return to open the 2nd half? This was 80 yards downfield and the guy wasn’t able to find a way to get off the field?
Am I missing something about positioning of officials?

JW0 is the best Safety on the team

I'll take kinchens over any of our other safety's right now.i prefer the steady overall play he brings
