Yea, this more than makes up for McFarland. Losing him stung, but this has to be devastating to have a DC for a few days and then he dips right before signing day after helping close on recruits.

I’d offer him co-DC along with the DB room and have him coach in waiting because Steele ain’t got much left but he’s still gonna kick out some top 10 defensive units before then
