With Beck the offense will not be as explosive as it was with Cam, but it has a chance to be as efficient, which was the secret sauce with last year. The flashy plays were great, but the offense was so good because they got positive yards on first down almost always, were forever in 3rd and manageable, and rarely had three and outs. Something close to that type of efficiency is possible with Shannon‘s offense, Beck, a top five offensive line and a good stable of running backs.

You're not wrong. And people also forget the lulls we had in the 2nd qtr and early 3rd often. Being more consistent throught out the game will help a ton.

We had an ungodly 3rd down conversion and the #1 offense. And the bad part is it could've been even better.
