According to their website, they still have five locations, most in the Panhandle:Fried chicken and fried okra with mashed potatoes.
There’s still one left in St Pete. Ate there some years back.
The irony is that Burt Reynolds’s was a partner in Po’ Folks, and of course FSU player and sponsor of their uniforms back in the day.

Interesting their splash page restaurant is the one in Niceville; remember spending a whole lot of time there back in 90s when I was at Hurlburt, but lived up in Bluewater Bay. The favorite eatery of my Father in Law visiting from Ohio.
