All stats are vs FBS P5 opponents...keep in mind we’ve probably played the toughest schedule in CFB through 2 games.

Rushing defense - #6 at 73.5 yds/game and 2.3 yds/attempt

Rushing yards per game - Deejay Dallas #18 at 100.5 yds/game and #14 at 8.04 yds/carry

Passing yards per game - Jarren Williams #23 at 261.5 yds/game, #9 at 71% completions, #29 at 7.6 yds/attempt, and #21 at 149.03 rating

Brevin Jordan - leads all P5 TEs in yds/game, also leads all CFB TEs in yards per game regardless of opponent

Rushing yards allowed - #6 at 73.5 yds/game and #4 at 2.3 yds/rush

Total offense - #31 at 394.5 yds/game and #26 at 5.56 yds/play

Total defense - #19 at 346.5 yds/game

TFLs - #14 at 8.0 per game

3rd down conversions allowed - #6 at 20%

I mean great we have a few good players that did well against mediocre teams. But that's always been the case. I remember backup quarterback Kyle wright being 13th in the nation in passing efficiency under Randy Shannon. I remember Jacory Harris being in the top 10 for several weeks under Randy Shannon.

I think it's interesting how most of the Stars we have over the last 10 or 15 years are just barely mediocre in the league. The other players that hardly play here end up having long careers in the NFL as contributors
 
How about impact penalties and misaligned defenses on 3rd and 4th down? I wonder what new and creative ways we can find to ***** this thing up even more.
