Even if we were 2-0, I wouldn’t feel any different about our prospects moving forward. The W’s would just be masking the fact that this team has a lot of work to do.
 
We need those stats high to be a solid team. But a few others as well, FG%. 4th down percentage (which is 0/100% I believe) for example. Were doing a lot right, let's see if we can get better in areas of obvious need.

Give it time...I’m so disgusted at the regressed state of this team/coaching results.

Turds: “Oh, it was a preseason game against a top 10 team. We just didn’t have enough time to prepare against them. No worries! We’re gonna go 11-1.”

Jar heals: “Well now, it was a prime time home game for them. The seasons young. We’re gonna go 10-2”

Bethune Cookman (Really? Why we still play them?): TBD, but I hope we don’t hear, “They just capitalized on a team that came out flat, after two losses. I think we’re gonna be okay, I think we go 9-3.”

Chippewas: Holy ****!: “Bethune Cookman exposed our weaknesses. We’re gonna go 8-4. If not, at least we make it to some sort of a bowl game.”

Dislike what I’m saying, but this seems to be a trend. Manny needs to prove me wrong.

What are some of the advanced statistics for Defense and Offense.

Lets be honest, my eye tells me we're closer than the 0-2 record reflects. Penalties are something that needs to be cleaned up pronto! However We played 2 teams that will be 9-10 win teams when all said and done this year IMO. 0-2 sucks and it's a ****** feeling, but I feel like we have a shot to win out with our schedule. I know the mopes and naysayers will say i'm crazy, but i don't see a terrible team on the field. Need to tighten some things up and have some guys step up, but we aren't terrible by any means.

Dude that’s why I’m not as down as most here, we’ve had a lot of weird , bad **** happen. Maybe it’s the percentages evening out from the fluke 17 season.

I see a lot of positives , there’s no way those numbers look that way with last years team or even the 17 year. There’s lots of positives with the eye ball test , we’re just 0-2. Which makes people angry and emotional.

Drops , missed fgs blown coverages are all happening at the worst times. But that’s growing pains I’ve mentioned , if we’re still doing this in week 10 then we have a major problem. I just don’t see it continuing. The jump of the o, qb and ol was huge in one bye week. I see that continuing as a whole. That’s what young teams do.

I definitely have concerns but I'm not nearly as concerned about this team as I was last year's.

People are reactionary and when the team loses, they tend to think the absolute worst and when the team wins, they tend to way overrate everything. Had Miami won both games, even in a sloppy non convincing manner, there'd be people here screaming "WE WANT CLEMSON". Special teams errors have been my biggest issue. Maybe it'll get better, maybe it won't.

Take away the busted coverages and the stats would be crazy. Which that’s what young players do, especially replacing the entire back four.

Take away the busts and teams aren’t driving the ball much.

I know , I know I’m being silly.
