Got a call lastnight from someone close to the program and expect There to be some Major Changes on Defense.... Expect a defensive overhaul sooner than later because of recruiting. .... also heard that if certain coaches are retained we might lose a few guys projected to sign with us come Signing Day.... Dnt be surprised if the new President forces Golden to do so and if not, his *** is gone too.... whats keeping him is his buyout after next year, it goes out the window because he originally signed a 5 year deal and the extension kicks in after next year so to prevent him from collecting the extension money, next year will be ACCCG or bye bye

I bet that phone call excited you. Golden staying must of made you bust a nut. Hopefully when he gets fired he can take you back to Jersey with him.
 
Can't we pay his extension buyout over 50 years or so? Kind of like the financing agreements on those cheap *** used cars Folden sales!
 
How exactly would a new president who wouldn't take office till May force him do anything about the staff?
 
Golden and Shalala have done more damage to this program than Coker, Shannon, and Shapiro combined
 
Wait, an undetermined future president may force Al to fire someone on his staff next year or he may be gone too?!?! Earth shattering stuff.

I don't believe it until i hear this from the school iam not Renewing my season tickets either way and why will Golden want to be a lame duck coach next year if he was smart he would save face and go to other school.
 
This is makes no sense whatsoever. If what you are saying is true - doubtful - his buyout as I type this would be one year...the last year remaining under his original deal. If that were true he would have been fired by halftime.
 
This thread has a lot of red flags. You claim Golden will change his staff soon but because the new president will force him? The new president isn't coming till after spring of next year.
 
I'm skeptical of the " major changes on defense" thing. It's Al's show. Sounds like they want to mollify whatever fan base is left in this clusterf@ck of a program. Keeping this guy around for another year because of a few extra sheckles seems penny wise and pound foolish to me. How far down do they want to bury the coffin. Look at the press conference. He's done. Players are fried. Call the press conference. Name Kehoe interim for the bowl game.
 
First of all im not from jersey i was born and raised in Miami and grew up with Frank Gore, Roscoe Parrish, then moved further south and went to school with Sean Taylor (RIP) and Graduated with Chris Myers....I still talk to Roscoe to this day and i can admit i did say that he should have time because the 2 years of the NCAA **** hurt us in more ways than alot of people knw...

In what ways did the NCAA hurt us that most dont know? Did it abuse us sexually?

All this means is that Al is gonna scapegoat someone this off season. Most likely candidates: Franklin, williams, kehoe, Carroll.
