I guess Butch didn't coach in 2000. Weird. Because we beat both VT and FSU that year and got snubbed from the national title game.

Lol. It’s a bunch of goof balls on this site. I swear this is the Golden era 2.0.

I’m going to assume the reason y the full bloom Richt supporters is due to them being either fam, disguised BOT members who are trying to justify the hire/retention, trolls, UGA fans who are trying to make our lives miserable, Richt himself, or recently released patients from the Greystone Park Psychiatric Hospital.

The truth about Richt at UGA and here, lies somewhere in the middle.

He's had some huge wins.
He's taken some bad losses.
He was inches away from beating Bama for what would have been a national title.
He's recruited and developed some great players.
He's underachieved at times with those great players.
He's won consistently over two decades as much or more than any other HC outside of the two or three obvious names.
His offense is far from cutting edge, but has performed way better than this year's when he has better talent and experience at QB and the OL.
He'd be his own worst enemy if he didn't acknowledge he has to have help for his offense to be better when he doesn't have those two things.
Also tho don’t forget that richt wasn’t the OC or playcaller for most of his time at uga. His record is based on being the ceo.

So the sample size of richt as OC is really only the last 3 seasons. Those seasons have been poor.

I mean let’s look at it this way. CIS knows a con-man like Richt when we see one. I mean NO ONE fell Sileo and his bull**** last year. CIS knows frauds when they see one and Richt’s record at UGA and in the SEC is a fraud.

and dont forget when Mork was introduced as the new Miami HC, he said his biggest mistake at Gawgia was giving up playcalling and he said "I won't make that mistake again" .

CMR is 26 - 12 at Miami STFU! None of his offense have hit in the top 40 since he's been here. You know what Larry Coker's record was at Miami in his last 3 seasons? 25 - 12.

Don't tell me MR is the guy. He hasn't proven anything as far as coaching goes. You either improve as a coach or you get left behind.
Coker had a better team to work with starting out than cmr did when he started here.I'm not in favor of cmrs offense but it's truly unfair to compare his and cokers tenure here.Coker got keys to rolls Royce and turned it into a junk pile.cmr got keys to a dumpster fire and is having a hard time trying to put the fire out.

So this is Brian Kelly's record at ND. I post this to show that with proper changes to a staff it can have great results. For similarity sake take a look at 2015 to 2016 then to 2017. Richt is more than capable of turning things around IF he is willing to make the proper changes. Will he do it is another question but if he does I can see positive results just like Kelly had especially with our schedule next year.

2010 - 8 - 5
2011 - 8 - 5
2012 - 12 - 1
2013- 9 - 4
2014 - 8 - 5
2015 - 10 - 3
2016 - 4 - 8
2017 - 10 - 3
2018 - 12 - 0

GO CANES!!!
And what if he makes no changes?
Also, we had a cake walk schedule this year as well and managed to ****** limp our way through it. Kelly reinvented himself. Saban, Urban, Dabo all change with the times. We’ll see if Richtirement can do the same.

Fan base is truly brain dead. CMR so far;

1. Has landed our best recruiting classes since 2000-2005 years
2. Helped pay for and pushed for an IPF
3. Developed our best D since our glory years (Diaz was his hire like it or not).
4. Adds tremendous stability to our program (something we NEED).
5. Went to our first major bowl in years last year

So he had one bad season because our QB's were young or not Miami Caliber. Probably lost 2 games he should had one but after Kosi's last game stats that too is iffy. I think offense will be much better next year we need patience to develop our freshmen and sophomores.

CMR got the keys to a Lexus ES, playing in a division full of Toyota camrys and corrolas.

He was given Too much talent to have a four game losing streak every year. Especially considering the opponents.

That first year he was here we were not a good football team.the talent and depth were both lacking at several positions.remember all the freshmen getting playing t time then.second and third year I agree with you.

Dude, he is competing in the ACC coastal. I’m sure u don’t think he needs a senior laden team to beat UVA, do u?

If you wanna talk about hypothetical matchups w elite teams, then I’d agree. But that’s not who he loses to.

Corch got relieved of play calling duties at uga, then fired. Surely they were aware of his record OP is whiteknighting.

Corch is corching stinky offensive production at UM for everyone with working eyes to see. Industry people react or comment like Orlovsky, Vilma, JJ, Pitt game ESPN Crew, B. Jackson.

Corch on sideline appears like someone on a double dose of Xanax and Ambien.

Corch calls SMD some other name, can't think of Wiggins' name at recent presser. A drug test should be administered.

Corch gets 13 and 12 points vs uva and dukie.

Corch cowardly hires only yes men after he was castrated by Coach Pruitt.

I think Coach should move to UTSA where his corching would be welcome.

A program with a history of tremendous work and achievement shouldn't be handcuffed by a corch who doesn't even use the full allotment of bowl practices.

We just went 7-5 with a top 3 defense in the country ....

.... and a young, garbage offensive line—as well as no quarterback. Hard to produce on that side of the ball when you don't have the talent or the players stepping up.

If folks want to turn on Richt, so be it—but there should be a lot more vitriol toward N'Kosi Perry and Cade Weldon, than their should be a head coach who walked into a 60-47 situation (Coker's final year to Golden's firing.)

Both those quarterbacks had a full season to redshirt and neither put in the work to beat out a very pedestrian Malik Rosier by spring. The fact that 12 outplayed both of them; that's on both immature r-freshmen. Week of Virginia Tech, Perry FINALLY has his eureka moment and talks about studying the playbook and living in the film room? Should've been doing all that since this time last year.

Had Perry been the quarterback Miami expected this year, the Canes are 10-2 right now (losses to LSU and Boston College) and are Coastal Division champs, heading to play Clemson this weekend.

You're right but that isn't the point. I was pointing out what OP was saying about records. Larry Cokers last 3 seasons is the reason why he got fired. Mark Richt has similar w/l (I know it's his first 3 seasons compared to LC last 3 seasons but still). On top of that, mark Richts offense hasn't been good at all since he's been here and will never be good.

Op possibly eats his boogers and smells his fingers after scratching his b hole

Stop , it’s year three.

His offenses has went from the 40’s, 50’s and lastly the 90’s. See the trend smart guy?

Offensive gurus don’t do that.
