The truth about Richt at UGA and here, lies somewhere in the middle.

He's had some huge wins.
He's taken some bad losses.
He was inches away from beating Bama for what would have been a national title.
He's recruited and developed some great players.
He's underachieved at times with those great players.
He's won consistently over two decades as much or more than any other HC outside of the two or three obvious names.
His offense is far from cutting edge, but has performed way better than this year's when he has better talent and experience at QB and the OL.
He'd be his own worst enemy if he didn't acknowledge he has to have help for his offense to be better when he doesn't have those two things.
Dude averaged 3+ losses per year, which was just enough for uga to not fire him.

He’s not doing as well here.

More importantly, OC richt didn’t win those games.

CMR is 26 - 12 at Miami STFU! None of his offense have hit in the top 40 since he's been here. You know what Larry Coker's record was at Miami in his last 3 seasons? 25 - 12.

Don't tell me MR is the guy. He hasn't proven anything as far as coaching goes. You either improve as a coach or you get left behind.
Can we really compare his record to Coker's? Factor the talent Coker had when he got the job versus what Richt had when he got the job. Plenty of valid criticisms for Richt other than his win loss record.

dear sweet lord...the point is anyone saying his w/l record at UGA should have been a red flag is wrong. that's is.

If you consider how much talent he had while losing those almost 4 games each year, u might come away with a different opinion.

Also... richt wasn’t the OC for most of his time there.

So this is Brian Kelly's record at ND. I post this to show that with proper changes to a staff it can have great results. For similarity sake take a look at 2015 to 2016 then to 2017. Richt is more than capable of turning things around IF he is willing to make the proper changes. Will he do it is another question but if he does I can see positive results just like Kelly had especially with our schedule next year.

2010 - 8 - 5
2011 - 8 - 5
2012 - 12 - 1
2013- 9 - 4
2014 - 8 - 5
2015 - 10 - 3
2016 - 4 - 8
2017 - 10 - 3
2018 - 12 - 0

GO CANES!!!

It took Larry Coker 6 years to get 11 losses. Richt did it in 3.

You know what Coker has the Richt never will? A National Championship ring.

Who gives a **** about what he did at Georgia? This is the present in Miami and he sucks
UGA2.webp

This nut job has been down voting, dumb voting and zzz voting any and every post against Rorcht. Never seen a single porst
if CIS would add a "BLOCK" feature like Twitter has, these annoying little ****ants would disappear and the experience on this
site would greatly improve. what a concept ---- improving something !

which will happen first .... a BLOCK feature gets added or Mork hires a hire caliber OC ? LOL
