Dude averaged 3+ losses per year, which was just enough for uga to not fire him.The truth about Richt at UGA and here, lies somewhere in the middle.
He's had some huge wins.
He's taken some bad losses.
He was inches away from beating Bama for what would have been a national title.
He's recruited and developed some great players.
He's underachieved at times with those great players.
He's won consistently over two decades as much or more than any other HC outside of the two or three obvious names.
His offense is far from cutting edge, but has performed way better than this year's when he has better talent and experience at QB and the OL.
He'd be his own worst enemy if he didn't acknowledge he has to have help for his offense to be better when he doesn't have those two things.
He’s not doing as well here.
More importantly, OC richt didn’t win those games.
