and the post graduates (other than a couple hundred law school students) typically have no time/interest/affiliation with the football team.
What area of town you in?Not too sure. Never been to Houston before so I’ll have to do some searching around.
You’re memory is a helluva lot better than mine and for a program like we were back then, it was surprising to have as many AA’s as we did.It was the 77/78 in ref to shutting the FB program down. And there was wayyy more than a few AA's at UM prior to 1983.
I’m staying downtownWhat area of town you in?
We had 32 AA's prior to 1983...the 1st was Al Carapella in 1951You’re memory is a helluva lot better than mine and for a program like we were back then, it was surprising to have as many AA’s we did.
Ok. You are good then. You find places to drink there on accident. I’m in Cypress area. Hosting a fish fry tonight. If you get bored hit me up. I’m a little distance from down town though.I’m staying downtown

Fargo's Pit Barbecue is all that...C&Js as well.If anyone knows some good BBQ joints feel free to share. That’s the third reason why I’m here. One to watch Miami win, two to drink some beer, and three to test out the BBQ.
I knew the first was in the early 50’s but never counted how many before ‘83. That’s an amazing number all things considered. We had 32 AA's prior to 1983...the 1st was Al Carapella in 1951
Truth was just rated #3 in the state by Texas Monthly (they are the magazine that everyone uses as the bible... the US News of BBQ ratings, if you will. Can't speak to its methodology.)If anyone knows some good BBQ joints feel free to share. That’s the third reason why I’m here. We had some **** good teams prior to 83...the 81 defense was better than the 83 defense. People don't realize how good that team was. We beat 5 ranked teams that yr (including #1 Penn St)..and Lost 2 games on BS Calls/Non Calls. Unfortunately we were on probation (Sabans doings) so we wouldn't have been able to play for NC that yr. The 81 team was most definitely a NC team.I knew the first was in the early 50’s but never counted how many before ‘83. That’s an amazing number all things considered.
Same with my Son...As my son told me they bus over to party in the lot. The game is secondary. Unless it is a big game and close they leave early to get back to campus. He hated sitting in the student section. He always sat with me or used our seats if I didn't fly down for a game.
17? Come on man at least throw 20 in there lol.
