Southern California is the closest from what I've seen and read. But South FL is another level

STA could make a national title run.
They had a chance this year if they didn’t get upset the Jesuit game.

Agreed. A lot will depend on who their QB is, wink wink.
Keep in mind, there is a lot of West Coast bias in those polls.

STA over St. Francis was one of the best wins of the year. It’s crazy they ended up ranked higher (an east coast school, but still).

Great win, but the stumble against Tampa Jesuit (on short notice and in inclement weather) was costly. Even if STA went undefeated, they may not have won the title.

Dillard is loudly putting together a pretty impressive staff. I see that’s just added a LB coach who played for the Indianapolis Colts.

If sta would of played st. Francis later on in the season they would of lost. That st Francis qb might be the best in his class.

And Pitt.

Good to see North Miami is still Miami Central's JV.
Been taking kids from there since i was in high school early 2000s

Like clockwork, for years on top of years.
Everytime North Miami gets a decent player, they get plucked by Central lol

Rome literally only played 2 years of football. All Greg had offered was Akron UCF Purdue and Pitt came at the last second. Wanstache saw a play where Greg chased down Pat Johnson (now Peterson) from backside DE and that was a wrap.
Gus Mustakas, Jared Martin from western, and a RB Collins
Edit: just googled up 2006 Pitt after typing that…they were full of SFL guys

Fellas...
There are some certified freakin' studs coming up in the 2024 and 2025 classes. We got Mario at the right time!

I remember competing at a track meet against Jabaal Sheard. He was doing the long or triple jump at his size with some lowtop Air Force 1s, and still clearing 41-42 feet. It's amazing to look back and see that I was right there next to a D1/NFL defensive end lol
