Social media’s impact on football coaches

Stop engaging me in your foolishness. We have won 5 under 4 different coaches in the modern era, which, by definition, makes us more capable of winning NCs than the teams you mentioned.

And you’re in here talking to me about Oregon getting close 5 years ago. The same Oregon fans that quickly ran Helfrich off by the way, which doesn’t support your goofy hypothesis.

And what the fck does Stanford have to do with this? They were total garbage forever. And now they’re a 9 to 10 win team who has an occasional down year. That’s what they are.

Auburn? The same Auburn fans that greeted Chizik at the airport with jeers the day he got hired? The ones who ran him off two years after he won a NC and are raising **** trying to get Malzahn fired a year after he signed a giant extension?

Ped State? They were raising **** against Franklin two years after he got hired trying to get him fired and forced him to clean house and bring in Morehead who saved his job?

You think we’re the only fans who use social media to create toxicity? Is you crazy? Do I need to continue to drag your feeble hypothesis through the mud?

Oh geez......dude thinks 1983-1991 is the "modern era". No wonder people act the way they do around here, like we're supposed to be in the playoffs every year.

I suggest you apply for the coaching position. You seem to have all the answers. Are you Nick saban Jr.?

So you have to be a coach now to point out blatant deficiencies regarding Richt and his offensive staff of "yes men"?

One fan did that at fsU. Look how many we have acting a fool

Riiiiiiiight. If bama doesn't win a NC this year and loses 2 games next year you don't think fans will be doing all sorts of stupid sht? They'll be calling for firings and saying racist stuff about the players. They're keeping their crazy, racist sht together only because of all the winning. If they did half as bad as us their fans would be twice as bad.

Richt through his entire head coaching career has shown that he's not going to make changes. It took UGA's administration getting involved at one point. That's why everyone is acting the way they did, because there's historical facts in place saying so.
When ppl bring up UGA smh..but ok I’m not getting into this one

Because you have no argument because I debunked your criticism for everyone else.
Nope because UGA was nothing B4 MR got there..so claiming oh he undacheived at UGA is BS. He took that program to new levels that if u look back at their history they only reached once’ in 3 year stretch in the 80s’

Bama was horrible for about 15 years. They still went to games and didn’t fly banners. Their AD even made a coach who tried to resign finish the season and they went 3-8. They even announced he’d be fired at the end of the season half way through but had him keep coaching. Blake James has never been that bad. Bama fans still showed up

Lol ok you win, using cute nicknames for programs and calling all dissenting opinions rubbish proves your point. It must be the 10’s of thousands of posts across multiple Miami message boards, we all know your name so you must be right, cool I’ll move on.

The argument was that you're getting on posters for Richt not making changes to the staff. I pointed out that it took UGA's administration getting involved to force him to make actual changes to the staff. That's great that Richt had success at UGA (with zero national titles) with a top 5 talent bed of recruiting in the state of Georgia where no athlete was going to go play for Paul Johnson at GT.

Also, that success he's had was a while back. What has he won lately? How's UGA doing since they fired Richt?

I’m also not clear as to what your point is, considering the post of mine you originally commented on was about recruiting classes that are ranked higher than ours despite their own coaching issues and unmet expectations. Clearly Miami enjoys a different level of toxicity than any other program was the point i was obviously making.

Well Miami fans give butch credit for Coker’s success..overall time will tell what UGA is W/O MR. But my whole argument is MR just fineshed year 3, he done enough in his 1st 2 years here for fans not to be calling for his head mid season. Not saying that’s your stance but a lot of others here feel that way.

You don’t think he’ll make changes based on his history at uga. I understand your argument.

Kirby Smart needs to recognize if he doesn't win the Natty this season, he "owns it" from this point forward--no more blaming "Richt's players".

If he isn't hoisting the hardware by 2020-2021, mobs in Athens are at least going to get the pitchforks and torches out of their sheds.

For sure they riot in the streets by 2022--and I'm nit sure he has that long.

UGA has one modern NC in 1980. It took a once in a generation type player for them to get it.

CMR not getting a title at UGA is not some type of anti-Richt selling point no matter how many of you would like to believe it is.

Additionally UGA is doing exactly the same right now as they did with CMR...very strong team that isn't quite able to run with the elite. Next year will go a long way both at UM and UGA to determine what type of coach he is.

From what I heard, they dearly miss Richt. The whole city of Athens is about to go on strike just to try and get him back.
Actually, I heard they are tired of making SEC title games and didn't like their playoff win.
