He is probably tired of freezing and his bones are getting old. Please someone get this info to CMR ASAP.

That would be a total flameout given the importance of a great DC hire and a budget that I suspect is likely $1M for a DC. Brown's probably making $400K tops at BC. I'd make him say no to $1M. Larranaga spent his whole life in the NE too. Working out well for him down here.

From Wikipedia. This guy is the truth. Even as a head coach he was doing great.

On January 9, 2009, the University of Maryland announced the hiring of Brown as its defensive coordinator, which filled the vacancy created by the departure of Chris Cosh.[SUP][2][/SUP] Maryland paid UMass a $25,000 buyout in accordance with the terms of Brown's contract.[SUP][3][/SUP] With a dearth of experience and talent, especially on the offensive line, Maryland suffered a 2–10 record during the 2009 season.[SUP][4][/SUP] The loss of cornerback Nolan Carroll due to a broken leg was cited as a serious detriment for the defense.[SUP][4][/SUP] The defense struggled to pressure opposing quarterbacks with the implementation of Brown's aggressive, blitz-oriented scheme.[SUP][5][/SUP] Maryland finished tied for last in the Atlantic Coast Conference in scoring defense, allowing an average of 31.2 points per game, and caused just 12 turnovers and recorded 27 sacks. Yup. In his 3rd year at a P5 school playing three New Years bowl teams with a bunch of nerdy white dudes and no offense.
 
Also keep in mind Adazzio is probably on the way out next year and Brown might be looking for an exit plan. Fingers crossed.

Based on what? Why would you ever think that? With a new found commitment to football and the hiring of a legitimate coach in Mark Richt, it would logically follow that Richt and UM are shooting a little higher than John Lovett. I just don't get why you would expect that type of lazy uninspired and mediocre hire.
 
Btw, the world is *** backwards when Michigan State and BC are playing 4-3 over with pressed CBs and Miami is playin 2-Gap 3-4 10 yards off. Smfh.

I'm a cheapskate. Make him say no to 600k. Then make him say no to 750k.

Hey, I'm just looking out for the overal budget.
