Fix the kicker and special teams will be fine. Osborn showed we were very capable with the right guy back there.

Special teams were fine this year, kicker issues aside.

Patke was a big improvement over Hartley.

Special teams was not fine. We got caught slipping by opponents on several fakes because we were unprepared. And kicking probably wouldnt have been so bad if we had an experienced and designated special teams coordinator

Patke just isn't good. We went from horrific in 2018 to bad in 2019.

Our kicking problem is a joke and cost us games. Hedley was good but he came in that way so I have no faith that we'll be able to develop a punter once he leaves, let alone kicker.

He can't recruit. He can't develop. There has to be an upgrade.

How about Edward Reed as a coach... ST and linebacker or secondary we absolutely need him. I’m not a fan of hiring coaches because they were great players. Ed would be a great coach and recruiter. He’s as detailed and analytical as any coach on this staff. He’s a home run hire.
