He started at the end of 2019 had a good bowl and was In the 2 deep that whole szn. It’s all health with 6. Last szn he wasn’t good. Come to find out he had a foot issue

Recruit studs but apparently our evals at RB and DE are bad or we just can't get the cream of the crop.
 
I’m honestly trying to see all the Cheaney love. I know you guys follow all the high school stuff and base decisions on potential, but still. The kid has had 50 carries since he’s been here and he’s hurt since HS, but he’s better than Knighton?? If that’s the case Bob Sanders would have been better than ER20 but Bob was hurt every week

It took injures and some younger guys being angry to the point they’d leave , forcing the coaches hand. There’s still guy like Chase and Roberts who should get playing time or more playing time.

Why did it have to get to that point to play the better guys. It’s more proof manny is unqualified for this job.

the fact that I see ford on field all game and Roberts can't get in is beyond me.
The LB core is a mess, he wont play anyone who's faster than a 4.8 40 time lol

No...this is what happens you have a throwing QB not a RB playing QB. Respect for King but lashlee offense needs QB that can read the defense and make throws not a running QB

The portal is a big deal. Miami has become one of the top portal schools in America thanks to Diaz foresight. It's easy to dismiss it, but he was a trendsetter in that regards.

The jewelry criticism is sorta funny too, since the turnover chain was created by Manny, Miami was #2 nationally in forced turnovers at least they were earlier this year when they showed the stat. That chain actually put Miami on the national map, it made headlines everywhere, and people from college down to pee wee were using some turnover prop.

He also learned how important the Kicker position is and improved it greatly. He was hurt badly with 2 losses in his first year due to not being able to kick.

He also brought the spread uptempo offense to Miami. Sorry that is a big deal as Miami has been behind college offenses for over a decade.

2. Horrible scheme-schemed sure looked good when he had Greg R., Garvin, Shaq, Pink.

Talk about dramatic.

So TVD hasn't developed? Knighton? Phillips? Rossaueu? Keyshawn Smith? Xman? Jakai? Rivers? Zion? Rambo is going to have a career year if he stays healthy, and he played with top notch QBs and arguably best offensive Hc in America.

That word is thrown out so much for older players who simply aren't that talented.

Manny isn't some great Hc, were you expecting it from an inexperienced HC taking over a 7-6 program inheriting a bad QB room, with no placekicker on the roster?

Did you expect him to wave magic pixi dust over this pathetic average 7-6 program and turn it into a national powerhouse in 2.5 years when the administration that he works for could care less? At least Manny actually cares for this program like we all do, which is much more than the pathetic administration including Blake James.

I'm all for hiring a top notch HC, if you can get one to come here.

Manny's done some exceptional things as head coach, But he's incomplete. He was clearly not ready to be HC at Miami when hired without a search, and he's still not ready 3 years in.

While Manny has had some success at recruiting, he hasn't recruited at a high level at his core position, LB. He misses way too often on key Florida talent. His recruiting is as lumpy as Shannon's and Golden's where we get a couple quality kids at one position and are empty at another. Now it's LBs, DEs and CBs, with OL still questionable as it has been since he was promoted.

Poor performance and recruiting of the defense are where the core issues lie, which he is directly responsible for. Fire him yesterday and establish a search committee to find that top notch HC.
