So this is what happens when

James Williams had been playing. It took Bubba being out now and playing poor for Kams snaps to increase. The injury does explain some of Bubbas struggles.

26 has been relegated to dime and striker looks. And hasn’t been god awful in that role at all.

Knighton actually started a few games last year. Got hurt vs Duke and entered the szn suspended. Obviously we are hurt at that spot

Arroyo came into the szn as the number 2 TE he had been playing has 2 nice grabs in back to back games now

TVD got his chance and is running with it

53 actually got in a car accident and missed summer session and fall camp due the that. Was actually looking to RS the kid. Even so 55 was actually the back up at C early on. Glad 53 is back right

Linebacker has improved from a szn ago. I think that’s mostly due to the DT position playing better. But we still don’t have a diffferce maker there. I’d say 17 has been a pleasant surprise actually. Wes and tolan (blessed from LSU situation) are guys we have to close on. No way both with bust at the next level and very good chance both will be studs

We all knew how big this clsss was gunna be for DB and linebacker..and it’s clear. Clarke had his struggles this week after 2 solid games. Williams/kam/Tae blew a couple yesterday but I believe they will be better abs better. The CB room has to be addressed. Losing fegan to Bama was big. It seemed like only a matter of time If Saban gave him the green light..but still hurt

This team will run the table. Idk if that gets us in the title game. The right guys are making key plays. And lastly 1 kid who is a game from breaking out is 12 on Defense. Has really been good the last 3 games vs the run and pass. I’m calling a 3 sack game in Talley

Amari Carter has to be next on the chopping block. 5 seems like a great young man but he is a terrible football player. The fact that he is taking snaps over Gil is the definition of manny’s favoritism to a T.

5, 8, 26, 85, 44, 55: These are all guys that I can’t wait until the day they are off this team. We will be a better program when each of them leave due to Manny’s Bs

I have to think they want to redshirt him. The only time we saw him, against CCSU, he looked at least as good as Cody Brown. (Granted, everyone looked good that game.) But then he disappeared into the abyss. The only explanation I can think of is that they need to keep him to 4 games or fewer.
I, for one, am all for getting him onto the field now.

we saw 9 play this szn..and u can see why he’s still on the bench. This linebacker core is really missing Brooks’s. The linebackers haven’t even great. But the issues there take a backseat to the guys in the secondary play this szn..there room for growth there

I really feel like Brooks is the best of the bunch but even when he was healthy they barely played him.

Knighton was suspended for four games. Thats on him. And you do not (or should not) hand the starting role to a suspended running back in his first game back. He earns his way back.

Of all of Miami’s position groups, running back was most stacked. Knighton was going to have to re-earn playing time, which he has.

It took injures and some younger guys being angry to the point they’d leave , forcing the coaches hand. There’s still guy like Chase and Roberts who should get playing time or more playing time.

Why did it have to get to that point to play the better guys. It’s more proof manny is unqualified for this job.

Where were you in 2018 during the hiring process? Everyone knew Manny wasn't qualified for the job back then. Blake James is to blame.

With that said he obviously is learning on the job. He has done some good things he has made some mistakes.

Coming into the season with 3 tough games to start out the gate, no coach in America would just throw the true freshman or super freshman to the wolves. None, zero, empty set.

Revisionist history. As they are getting more PT they are making less mistakes.

The older guys coming back went 8-3 and 7-2 in league. We were losing to Alabama and Michigan State early this year regardless. Now an argument could be made that had TVD started all year we wouldn't have lost to UVA and UNC as he would be comfortable by those games, but again King was going to play if he and doctors said he was ready.

Nobody said throw super sr’s away , way too be over dramatic. How about playing the best players. Remember when that was just a crazy conspiracy theory ?

You say three tough games , who’s the third? Not that it matters.

Manny hasn’t done anything well other than pre season hype, jewelry and the portal. We’re why we’ve been since he’s been here , mediocre to bad.

Manny is gonna Manny. We'll play down to the level of our opponents like Duke and drop one or two more games. I'm not rooting against my Canes, but it's just reality. With the offense rolling it really shines a light on just how terrible our defense is. I mean how in the **** do we not even have a legit P5 lb on the squad? There's no Blake Baker to blame now, this is 100% on Manny.
