If those conferences decided to go with or against is of no consequence, but I bet money there would’ve been more uniformity if planning was involved. What Covid-19 did, was show how there is no uniformity as it’s been made to seem.

If u don’t get this simple fcking concept, U know ORGANIZATION, then I will personally find out every fcking teacher U’ve ever had and slap the dog chit into their soul for giving u a passing grade & not admitting u to the special ed classes.

guess i was wrong after all nebraska has folded and will not look for other options. atleast my canes are playing :cool:
 
Nebraska has lamented the move to the Big-12 for years.

I had conversations with Chris Fallica about this weeks before Al Golden was hired at Miami in 2011—as Bo Pelini was a quiet candidate for the Miami job.

Pelini wanted out of Nebraska and hated their conference ties, as it was a horrible fit for them trying to recruit kids out of Big Ten country to Lincoln.

Nebraska is old school Big 8. They should be playing the likes of Texas, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State—not trying to compete against Ohio State, Wisconsin and State Penn.

Here's hoping the make the move.
 
They’ve applied to the NFL and are to become members of the NFC Central by Sunday.

I too am an old soul purist. I miss the OU-Nebraska game in the fall, it signified the start of the crisp air and college football ruling the Saturday afternoons. We’ll see if Nebraska bites or not but would be great to see the rivalry renewed.

Bo is a Youngstown guy and a friend. You are correct he was a quiet candidate but they weren’t moving to Miami with their children at that time. When he left Nebraska he came back to YDU so his kids could attend Cardinal Mooney High School, same school as Stoops Bros and Eddie DeBartolo Jr! Had 20 million coming from Nebraska so he took the YSU job for peanuts so the Huskers would have pay! Left to go to Baton Rouge and Coach O as they are familiar with the area and kids are out of school. Son is on ND roster. Bo was Les Miles DC at LSU in 07, won the NC.

Pellini "left" Nebraska? And LOL at the idea he wouldn't come to UM to be the HC.

Ok he left Nebraska when he was replaced(didn’t know I had to explain that part but thanks) and no, he would not come here at that time in his life, just like Tressel wouldn’t come here when Dennis left (he went to the NFL, is that good enough) because Tress had family issues at that time That’s all he had to do was sign the contract, it was a done deal. Oh btw, Bob Stoops was closer to becoming UM’s HC than Bo!
