How does Nebraska know that the Big 10 will be playing football in the fall of 2021? That's two years (or more) of reduced operating costs versus revenue that would only be derived from merchandising sales.Exactly, I don’t know why everyone Gets a rager over this. There’s a huge difference between wanting to play this year but still be in the good graces of the big ten vs were playing this year and are willing to leave the big ten forever to do it. They aren’t leaving. If they do, they’re beyond stupid

Colleges are all liberal. Trump ain’t dumb tho. He knows pushing college football helps him in Ohio Wisconsin Michigan FloridaAlways Liberals vs Conservatives in America. LMAO. Such a false narrative... They voted 12-2.![]()
I prefer Frank Thomas’Most of the people on here are not very bright, they have bought supplements from Alex Jones
They should have waited a few weeks to see how things continue to play out rather than panicking and pulling the plug. Commish Warren is an attorney and he's got the liberal presidents running scared. How will it look if the SEC is playing games and HIS SON is on the Miss State team? You can't make this stuff up.The Big 10 blew their load too early canceling the season. If you read the comments from the Big 10 university presidents that were made immediately after, it was all about how EVERY conference was going to follow their lead and cancel too. Then they wouldn't have looked so bad in comparison.
But now that every other conference besides the PAC 12 has left them alone at the alter looking like pussies, I'm sure a lot of them are regretting their decision.
If nothing changes, this is going to be a catastrophe for the BIG10 and Pac12. They've basically given themselves the death penalty for a year. That can't be good.
Not playing because .00000003% of those that tested positive showed "some" signs of an inflamed heart?
Follow the science! 14 days to flatten curve! 2.5 million will DIE!
Its all a disgusting lie!
Yup.The Nebraska Bureau of Business Research in 2014 studied the economic impact Husker athletics had on the local economy, estimating that a seven-game home schedule that year brought in more than $42.9 million — equaling closer to $47 million now adjusted for inflation.
Liberty University is liberal? BYU? Utah? Baylor? TCU?Colleges are all liberal. Trump ain’t dumb tho. He knows pushing college football helps him in Ohio Wisconsin Michigan Florida
Why would you operate under the assumption that they wouldn’t? you’re acting like Nebraska is the only school that’s going to Lose money by not playing. Only idiots are turning down 50 million a year long term to make a few million this year. They aren’t making any money this year by ticket sales or tv revenue. Plus the big ten owns Nebraska’s tv rightsHow does Nebraska know that the Big 10 will be playing football in the fall of 2021? Virus has been political since lockdowns were implemented.Liberty University is liberal? BYU? Utah? Baylor? TCU?
It's insane this issue is even remotely political. There's no way Michigan and OSU don't want to play football. It has nothing to do with liberal vs conservative. It's about $$$ and optics.
