They were swaggeering like only natives who think they have the upper hand can swagger. (That's an old Colin Campbell quote, very apt here)

As I recall, Cincy scored a bunch, and UNC and VT were absolute garbage.

As for Free Shoes, we played a great 1st half, but was it because FSU played their typical awful 1st half?

If you were just looking at THE RESULTS then you can say it was just our sorry opponent. I was looking at our actual play calls though. I saw a lot more pressure with press coverage.

Those three teams weren't incredible, that's true. However, neither was Virginia, Pitt and SC. The thing is, we LOOKED like Miami Hurricanes those three game and spanked them like good Hurricane teams should. Had we won out, even after the FSU game, it could be seen as a step forward. Instead we choked BIG TIME.
