This just shows how stupid this board is people sucking off Locklsey after two games then proceeds to lay an egg against temple and an penn state yet we lose by 4 to a top 10 team team and 3 on the road rover a team Clemson beat by 1 and our coach is an idiot, sucker, etc
 
Larry Coker found a way to go undefeated when he was coaching a team that was waaaaay better than everyone else. It's almost as if having the best players can make even average coaches look great.

You're looking at extremes. Your talking about the best collection of talent in the history of the NCAA. Those players were coached by Butch for most of their college careers too.

Ed Reed was the head coach of that team lol!!! That was the best example of a player led team in the history of college football.

We have recruited studs and continue to underperform. If it was all about just the players then we should Strong and Hurt as our coaches. UGA won the second year Smart and Bama won the natty in Saban's third year. This was before they were able to get their guys in the system.

Enos was a great steal from Saban who knows what talent looks like. He needs to earn respect at UM for results. But the guys is barely just had time to get started.

Those who are already calling for his firing expose themselves as totally clueless football fans who haven’t watch the game or understand enough about it to talk any sh*t. Just a bunch of monkeys throwing their ****....

Disagree man....respect your opinion but man bama and uga had studs and those guys helped them rise. We have not recruited like they have not even close. They get the hogs and they stack.....sabans 3rd uear his guys are already in the system and Kirby copied the same formula. What does Smart and Saban have in common that locksley and enos dont? They recruit at elite levels while the other guys dont......recruit elite athletes and win.

yea they have the money to hire real coaches, strenght staff, analysts and recruiting dept. major applewhite is an analyst at alabama u know how insane that is a former head coach is basically a GA at alabama. Isnt butch jones an analyst at alabama too?

Almost as importantly as money, they're making good choices. They hired a great HC who knows how to evaluate other coaches and get people to buy in to his system. You need money first, but without good coaching hires you're right where we are but with fancier buildings.

Texas has more money than god but can't seem to get out of their own way. Same with Tennessee.
