So just to be clear

I was going to contribute a snarky response, but then I saw the pizza in OP's avatar and developed a surprising respect.

More to come.

The chickens are coming home to roost. We spent two decades trolling, taunting, and crapping in the rest of the college football world's cornflakes, and now all those opposing fan bases we ****ed off are coming here to rub our mediocrity in our face. I'm good friends with a Seminole fan who admits to me that he gets more joy out of watching the Hurricanes lose than his own team winning. That he literally jumps for joy, as if he won the national championship, when we get beat by the Dukes and FIUs of the world. So that is probably why this place is inundated with trolls. I personally don't mind it, though. You win some, you lose some. It's all cyclical. We'll eventually have our day in the sun again, and it will be us trolling them.

We got a lot of miserable people on this board who live miserable lives. It makes them happy to see the Canes fail...even when we have good things happen theyll chime in with some yeah but... or...

It is what it is at this point

I am active on a couple of car forums. One of the things I've noticed is that there's a factory representative actively interacting with the users about issues, asking questions, and generally engaging with customers.

I know there's a significant number of ******** here that would make a representative from the U miserable if they were to make themselves known. However, if a thread could be started where a representative could contribute and any abuse or negativity was deleted, then it would be nice to be able to ask questions and respectfully share opinions. We could simply save our other criticisms for other threads.

The more isolated they become from the fanbase, the worse things will be.
