He’ll do what Manny tells him and do it well or they’ll both be gone. I get where you’re coming from because his offense looks a little gimmicky, but he’ll have to run the ball in our division with our talent.

I hear ya but the Canes haven't had O-Lines/O-line coaching to be a power blocking team for quite a while, so let them pitch it around, live and die by the pass until they can start getting some high-quality O-line recruits to come. That takes a lot of time to develop from the first class you get in.

But for quick fixes and to back off the fans, it's better than having both facets of the game running on empty

Strongly, strongly disagree with that...Beuchele was no world beater, but he's better (not on raw talent just a better qb) than Perry and Martell. Arm talent? No chance Mobility? No chance He's a decent little qb that doesn't jump off the film at you.
