So if an 8-4 record gets Diaz and Blake fired

This is exactly what I said. This is a 5 or 6 loss team. At best we’ll get to 8-4. AT BEST
Why not wait and see how you feel after App st. They are the first test that we have a chance to pass. Alabama was too big, to well coached and too talented. Lets see how well we do. After this game some conclusions can be made

It's relative. We aren't going to have Bama, OSU, or Texas money. But, as my post indicates, we have yet to make a genuine investment in the athletic program.
During our heyday, we didn't have Bama, Ohio St, or Texas money.
It's something else..

USC lost 52-6..went on go 10-3..last szn Texas am got beat by 28..went 9-1..stop ******* overreacting.

But we gotta and will bounce back thoughts??

We have 3 games between Alabama and our first ACC game. Plenty of time to get all the bad juju out.

If we were playing VaTech this weekend, I might be concerned. Michigan State is the real key, they are comparable to our better 2021 ACC foes this year, and it will be a good indicator of where we are in the bounce-back process.

And avoid injuries. Anyone know how Harley is doing?

These examples do provide a glimmer of hope. But did USC or A&M celebrate scoring plays and turnovers like wild injuns when they were down by 40? Culture and accountability remain major issues down here. The team showed some toughness last season with some hard-fought victories. There's a shot that we catch fire and make a run at the coastal, but it feels equally plausible that we'll go 7-5 with a couple bad breaks.

We had a dominant 10 years then flashed for two 10 years later. They’re on a better, more consistent dominant streak
Apples and oranges. How many titles do they have if there is no playoff to get them in as a 3 or 4. Conversely, how many more titles do we have if there is the playoff? For the latter, I’d say two more in the 80s/early 90s and 2000.

Them consider giving him an extension is gonna be a real thing after this season cuz we will get negative recruited that he is about to be fired. So we gonna have to weigh them against each other especially with the early signing period. Lets hope he gets a great recruiting class in 2022. The next one is where Shannon, Richt and Golden fell flat into the mud on their face.
Better to be negatively recruited against and sign an average class than extend a bad coach. That does far more damage
