So I took Ahmmon Richards' advice and watched the "SkyCast''...

of the game on Saturday. For those who aren't aware of what that is, its basically an alternate broadcast that shows the elevated endzone view from up close. It really is a new perspective on the game...

I just got finished with the first half and it's clear that the wind impacted Carson Beck and Carter Davis. Beck's throws to Trader on the go-route, the key 3rd down conversion to Daniels (which was actually complete as Daniels made a nice adjustment to the ball) and later on the fade to him, all those passes swerved as the passes got into the wind.

And they all had the same path (like a Fernando Valenzuela screwball) as Davis' kicks to that particular side of the field(where section 131 was with many of the UM fans). Some of Marcel Reed's passes fluttered and were impacted by the breeze

But yeah, will watch the second half later. For anyone that wants to see this game from this perspective, just go on the ESPN app, or ESPN Watch, and go to schedule and hit the tab for replay and go to 'Saturday Dec 20th) and you'll see all the options listed. I chose the SkyCast with the UM radio announcers

Its also cool cause you get to listen to the UM radio broadcast. Loved the report from the sideline guy that Mirabel was going nuts from excitement after the TD drive

On the view of a punt from Skycast - I saw the ball veer left hard at the apex then jet to the right before Conception snagged it. It looked like AI

Who’s the best WR you’ve ever seen at Miami?

I was mentioning the skycast while discussing the pass to JoJo. That was a TD all the way had there been 0 wind. Imagine how big a momentum change that would have caused.

So I was just wondering, everyone could see the gusty winds having an impact, but did we not know this BEFORE the game started? I can’t help but think that could have impacted certain play calls/going for it.

At least the wind wont be an issue against Ohio St.

Who would Toney supplant? Eddie Brown?

no way would anyone take 'Fast Eddie's spot. He actually makes a case for being number one

BTW, my Mt Rushmore of slot WR's coming into this season was: X, Berrios, Wesley Carroll and Kevin Williams (and yeah, it looks like someone is gonna get dropped here one day by Toney)

Rascon, it's the strangest thing, but I did not feel the wind, at all, in section 131. It actually got so warm that I took off my hoodie and I was still didn't really say to myself, ''Geez, it's kinda windy today."
