Just like Duke beat us with Glee Club kids. We are a poorly coached, underachieving team.

These “unintelligent” South Florida players have no problem grasping NFL schemes. It’s coaching.

They held our running backs to 15 total yards rushing.

That means their defensive line played lights out.

It’s not just coaching. It’s partly coaching, and partly talent.

Wisconsin probably has more NFL talent than we do right now. They certainly looked a **** of a lot better out there.
 
Amazing that you guys even care about talent differences when our main decision maker has onset dementia.

And 2 years ago that would've been a joke. It's serious now.

Let's not forget Richt played QB in his younger days in a completely different era when it comes to blows to the head.

And we didn’t lose because of schemes or intelligence. We lost because we got blown off the ball on offense and defense.

We don't play kids 4 and 5 years removed from high school. A kid needs to be ready to play when they get on campus. This includes knowing how to prepare for a game. This is why Miami players always do better once they have been in the league a few years.

Duke has more intelligent players than we do so they close the athletic gap.

WRONG!!!!!! Miami doesn't have ENOUGH 3 stars. That is our issue. We need more Florida 3 stars. Only then can we truly be elite like FAU and FIU.

No argument from me on that point. Our QB’s are ****, and our entire coaching staff is ****.

But I know this much - if a team is blowing you off the ball so they can get 5+ yards every snap just running straight up the middle, it doesn’t matter about schemes.

It’s not like we weren’t teeing off on their RB either....we knew they were going to run, they just manhandled us. We couldn’t do the same.

If Hornibrook had played, they would have beat us by 50 points.

Imagine what Alabama would do to us with their O-line and D-line?

This team is far, far away from what it needs to be. And it’s more than just a scheme fix.

Lol they have 3 south Florida kids on their team and only 2 got any burn. Wildgoose and Hicks. Together they combined for 2 tackles, no ints, no fumble recoveries, etc.

Also, just because Miami has a handful of players doing well in the NFL doesn’t mean our entire 85 man roster is made up of the same ****.

This team has some players who get it. Bandy, Willis, for example. But we have a lot of kids who are soft playing a lot of snaps for us.

Also, a lot of Miami NFL guys are skill position players. You can’t win without being great in the trenches, and without great QB play.

Miami needs to figure a lot of **** out.

Kind of hard to get tackles or picks when the opposing teams qb cant trow a forward pass...or completes it to LBs in front of you.

Wildgoose and Hicks are s.fla after thoughts that pretty much went up there to wisconsin and took starting jobs. The starting safety is from New Smyrna Beach as well.
I dont get the whole s.fla angle that is thrown around whenever we play Wisconsin.

Because the coachs suck, Coker was a position coach who got thrust into a head coach and was over his head. Shannon was a defense coordinator who was lazy, had no personality and felt owed. Golden took a crap Temple team and made them mediocre and had no business coaching a p5 team. Richt was burnt out and refuses to get with the way the game is played. He has no business being the o.c. but for hisego it has to be him. His offensive coachs other then Dugans and Hartley are incompetent. The history of Miami football.

I never dispute that point. My point is Wisconsin has 2 South Florida starters and does not build there team around South Florida recruiting. We have much more south Florida guys on the team and starting. D was acting like the reason Wisconsin beat us was because they recruited so many Florida guys.

Got ya.

Wisky does actually tries to build ther skill position recruiting around s.fla they just havent been landing as much the last 2 classes. Still got Hicks and Wildgoose up there..and both are starting.Would of also had Carriere Williams as a starter had he not left the program.

They offer everyone down here with any skill.

People want to put everything on coaching for two reasons.

1.) It gives you hope. If the only thing wrong with Miami is a scheme or a technique, tgen that makes the turnaround seem right within our grasp

B.). People want to protect and root for the local kids.


Both reasons are understandable, but there’s WAY more wrong with Miami than just coaching
