So, are we really gonna pay the going rate for an elite HC?

Lot of good posts amid your usual clueless crew. It's all about Frenk. He either will get it, or he won't. Very hard to predict. He has all the power now.

Didn't Blake say the Athletic Department raised $100 million? I don't know what they're planning to do with that money or if its even true, but if it is, then money is not an issue when it comes to coaches salaries. Throw in the Adidas deal and you have a solid foundation to pay the next coach at minimum $3 million and get a quality guy.
 
If you ask me it is not even about the money, but its all about getting the right coach in that wins in impressive fashion. Its not hard imo to win with all the factors that Miami has to offer, its just about getting the right guy in that runs an offense/defense that suites south florida. A dynamic offense/defense alone will get us recruits. A coach who can relate to athletes as well will be icing on the cake. Its sad how administration is holding this program back, the resources are right in front of their face.
