I think what’s worse is basketball your seeing dudes who go drafted into the NBA playing G league or whatever then bouncing back…

You can KINDA get me on board with this since he was full time in another sport than what he’s showing up to campus to play but the basketball stuff is a joke

Asssuming SMU dude spent no time on a college campus, being a 1st round MLB prospect??

I don’t like Toure situation much either. I get injury concerns, but to me the injury extension should only be 1 time UNLESS it happens so you miss your senior yr. That should be ONLY way to be able to play a 7th yr even. An 8th yr is ridiculous. You’re played all last season as a 7th yr player. Same with Chase Smith but a yr less. They should both be done

And if they were we would be fine cause we would have went out and signed 1- 2 portal Lbs. And there were a bunch of very goood ones to be had too…
 
Tyler McMeans was 25 playing for us after a 4 year stint with the marines. BYU has half its roster going on missions for 2-3 years then playing college ball. This guy played baseball. He’s a couple years older but these are exceptions. Doesn’t really hurt the game overall. … now if a football player goes to the NFL and wants back in, that to me is crossing the line.

I disagree injuries shouldn’t ruin ur eligibility regardless.. and I’m glad Toure got the chance to play football as a Cane for two years. Now going out for MLB and then deciding to go back to college football if it doesn’t work out is a much different conversation.
