Rueben Bain is the most impactful DL at UM since Warren Sapp. UM has had plenty of good D-Linemen since Sapp, but look at these numbers:

We talk about the “time“ it takes to build this thing, then we take no time to dismiss the very thing. Which one is it?

Has he been facing a lot of double teams this season? If not, I'm sure he'll be getting more, which will only open things up more for LT and the others. Would be interesting for those who are more in the know to talk about who's been facing the most double teams from opposing teams.

What's the matter with our relationships re: DTs? Sorry if this is a dumb question, I'm not super into the weeds with all the recruiting stuff.
I have no idea what is happening right now it doesn’t feel like last year

Bain has taken that next step the last few games but this feels like a case of recency bias. In time (next year prob) he should become that.

My man Gregory Rousseau went from 3 star HS safety to 1st round D-End after virtually 1 real year of college ball.
Shame he opted out that year, would’ve been a real treat to see him and J. Phillips wreak havoc together.

Too bad those guys played only one year. Both were studs.
