Rueben Bain is the most impactful DL at UM since Warren Sapp. UM has had plenty of good D-Linemen since Sapp, but look at these numbers:

Great point.Vince Wilfork is actually our last all world DL.
Even this statistic doesn't tell the whole story since he had so few snaps early in the season.
Doesn’t matter what kids see it’s about relationships. They see Bain and still won’t come.Yet we can’t recruit DL
It shows that narrative of if you develop they come. Well we know now that’s not true so we do not have to see posts again about it. I mean I knew this already but this is the undoubted proof.blows my mind that we cant land another ELITE DT after the season that Bain is having.
What's the matter with our relationships re: DTs? Sorry if this is a dumb question, I'm not super into the weeds with all the recruiting stuff.Doesn’t matter what kids see it’s about relationships. They see Bain and still won’t come.
I have no idea what is happening right now it doesn’t feel like last yearWhat's the matter with our relationships re: DTs? Sorry if this is a dumb question, I'm not super into the weeds with all the recruiting stuff.
Same thought here. Sa'lavea must suck balls at recruiting and not in a good way. How could we not get even ONE of the top dogs? Hopefully we can flip Stone.blows my mind that we cant land another ELITE DT after the season that Bain is having.
Can you go over to the Colorado Buffs board and post this so Sapp can see it?!?! I kid...............kind of........
Vince didn’t take over games like this kid is going to.Vince Wilfork is actually our last all world DL.
Too bad those guys played only one year. Both were studs.Bain has taken that next step the last few games but this feels like a case of recency bias. In time (next year prob) he should become that.
My man Gregory Rousseau went from 3 star HS safety to 1st round D-End after virtually 1 real year of college ball.
Shame he opted out that year, would’ve been a real treat to see him and J. Phillips wreak havoc together.
