Smart = Richt

Fromm's career numbers are fine. But he looks small and his hands were reject small coming out of high school...8.75

That measurement is largely going to dictate how he is viewed. A few weeks ago in bad weather against Kentucky, Georgia didn't seem to trust Fromm throwing downfield at all.

He’s a backup in NFL. He’s not quick enough (4.50 shuttle) given the lack of explosive arm and the hand size makes him even less functionally athletic.

But at the college level, he’s a star. Georgia will take a step back when he leaves.

I’m leaving opinion out of it..soley off facts and how I saw UGA use cager he was considered to them their top target out of that WR core

And Pickens surpassed him by the halfway point of the season because he was, wait for it. A. True. Freshman.

Cager may not even get drafted in the NFL as a 5th year senior. Pickens will be.

I agree he’s overrated but let’s be real , Fields would’ve been the same in this crap 1980’s O. Fields is in the perfect situation. , that offense is built to his skill set.Tbh I think Fromm would be better in that system too. It’s very qb friendly and he’s a good athlete , just not good as fields.

This is where the initial argument started. Fromm's obviously better than any QB currently on Miami's roster, but that isn't saying much. He lacks mobility and his arm strength is mediocre. The arguing point of Fromm being so great because of his W/L record is asinine given their talent advantage over just about everybody they play....until they face off against a team with equal talent, then it turns into a wash.

With what Uga does on O the qbs will not look like world beaters. They’re running an out of date , bs basic offense. They’re the new LSU because LSU got with the times. They have spread formations most of the game . There’s always four wr on the field, space makes everything easier for qb’s. From reads , running lanes and it’s harder to disguise coverages.

Smart better change it up.

I can agree with this.

You projected bruh lol..strictly talking how the two were used/viewed this season..he didn’t surpass cager. Cager got hurt. In fact cager was coming of his back to back best games until he went down. In those games Pickens was pedestrian at best..so idk where u got that he surpassed him from

Dalton hasn’t done **** in the league..lmao okay..they might be *** compared to Brady, mahomes, but they aren’t *** as professionals
Andy Dalton is the definition of a super regular average QB.

0-4 in the playoffs & is about to get replaced this upcoming draft by most likely Joe Burrow lol.

He's ***, without AJ Green & the good Cincinnati Defenses of the past he hasn't done sh*t.

I'm a Ravens fan, been watching my team play the Bengals since 96, I've seen the entire Andy Dalton era at Cincinnati from 2011 til now, he's had one or two seasons where he looked solid when they had some really good rosters around him, but as soon as it mattered in crunch time to win the division or win a playoff game & he ****** disappeared.

Dalton is 0-4 in the playoffs with 873yds 1TD & 6INT's at 55.7%cmp. When it matters most & he's not surrounded by great talent he folds up like a lawn chair. Just like Fromm.

that’s cool that u feel that way as a ravens fan lol..tell me all I need to know about your perception of dalton..compared to elite NFL QBs dalton stands no chance..but he’s more than solid..if Fromm has a career like that then he can’t be considered a bust. But I think Fromm will be a very solid pro. Kid has intangibles and leadership qualities you want and displayed that day one at UGA

Pickens is better than Cager. Just accept it.

Care to dive in more on intangibles. You need a bit more then intangibles and leadership qualities to be a quality starter in the NFL.

But his hair looks super trippy with an orange helmet

Hes displayed good pocket presence, elite ball placement and timing all throughout his career at UGA. Any 17 year who can come in and lead his team to a National title game appearance has the intangibles and leadership qualities u look for to lead a group of grown men

That team had 35 seniors on it. That's why they made it to the national title game that year. You guys keep putting W/L as a barometer for a QB when you fail to see what has been around them.

But we'll drive with that for the sake of argument. If he lead UGA to the national title game as a true freshman, why haven't they made it back yet? I mean, you get better from your freshman year. So why haven't they been back to the natty?

Accept your opinion, no lol. It’s not about which one I think is better. U keep being that up. Which is just u projecting since Pickens is a freshman ..I’m going off how I seen UGA use them and what happened to that UGA passing attack after cager went down. Cager was their number 1 target. That’s just facts

As a true freshman QB you don’t make it to a national title game just riding the wave of the others..2 out 3 seasons he’s been in the CFP..you don’t do that as a scrub QB

And Coley set his offense around Cager, because he's biased. I also wouldn't keep hanging your hat on what Coley does with his offensive personnel as a barometer for who's the better player.

You do that when your roster is loaded to the brim with elite players. UGA also plays in a significantly weak division as well. You throw them in the SEC West and their likely not even in the playoff discussion.

Bama has rolled out dog **** at the QB position and still won national titles this decade. But bro, your QB is what wins you games.

Lmao...sooo now coley was picking favorites..when the stats and facts don’t fix your narrative you reach for that?? Be better
