Slow starts - It’s bad

So your last ditch effort is to claim that Richt doesn't want plays to work?

im not arguing with you lol. i didn't have an issue going for the field goal. in a 1 point game, on 4 and 10, those 3 points force FSU to go down the field and score a TD to win in a half where they couldn't move the ball.

LOL I was going so fast that I thought he wrote that. My bad.

Have you abandoned the complaints about the series from the 11?

The run, run, run series picked up 3 and then 5. Why WOULDN'T you run it on 3rd and 2?
For the exact reason what happened. Lol. Defense completely sold out and forced a punt. I’m not playing the results of one game here, it’s almost 3 years of this. You took one line out of my Purdue comment and spun it but whatever you want to think though. It wasn’t the fact that they ran 3rd and 8 against Ohio State. It’s the fact they spread them out passed on the first couple plays, got a first down, passed on 1st and 2nd some more with high percentage throws and hit them up the gut.

I never said go for it on 4th and 10 and that wasn’t what I was talking about. Lol

its amazing how great starts against VT and ND last year have masked this, and those are the games where Richt came out the most creative and aggressive

In trying to look smart, you tried to break down certain drives and completely failed. If your point is "almost 3 years of this", then talk about the big picture. Trying to talk specifics showed that you don't really get what's going on out there.

No I get what Jagr is saying, this playcalling is actually genius and we're all just dopes who don't get it.

hes not saying that. there are def gripes about the offense and deservedly so, but hes just arguing about the call by richt to go for it on certain situations and not. it turned into richt just runs the ball all day long no matter the game, when in that FSU game, he def tried taking his shots (cager dropped td would've negated a missed FG) and went for it on 4 or 5 fourth downs in that game alone (4th and short hand off to Choc is the last one we went for).

Our issue is we don't game plan for our opponents from week to week. We run our same vanilla, establish the run first crap and teams know it. You can pretty much pencil in a 3 and out on our first possession. Run up middle, run of middle, 3rd and long, all verts, ball overthrown out of bounds, punt.

Yup, if anyone thinks Richt is sitting up in his home office at 2am going over opponents film and looking for the slightest edge to draw up that one play that will throw the defense off balance or exploit a tendency that that D has shown over their last six games, man HMU cause I got some amazing magic elixer to sell you that'll make your d!ck into a horse **** overnight.

Look, it's fine if he wants to enjoy life a little, and a program CEO can do that. Just hire you a Matt Patricia type (from a creativity, nerd level, and work ethic standpoint) who will live in his office for 6 months a year to create, plan, and implement an offense that is better than "well, it worked 30 years ago".

1st drives this year

LSU - punt
Sav St - punt
Toledo - TD
FIU - punt
UNC - TD
FSU - punt
UVA - turnover on downs
