Slap Fight About Paying Players

Thats highway robbery bro, mutha fugga talkin bout free lunch and 6k and he makin 75 mill LMAO

So now you change your tune from "nothing" to "well, it's a bad deal."

The truth is that these players have no value.

There are about two dozen or so college players with real value but clowns like you want to pay all untold thousands of them.

Go talk to any poor college student who eats Ramen every night and has $100,000 in debt if free tuition, room & board and $6,000 stipend is highway robbery.

Coach Winters: Yeah, but when was the last time 80,000 people showed up to watch a kid do a **** chemistry experiment? Why don't you stick the bow-tie up your ***?

TURNOVER CHAIN!

LOL at you comparing these football players to regular college students, and its way more then two dozen players LMAO.. theres dozens of players on each team... Booster just paid a 4star LB from missispi 80k.. I am now more then ever comfortable with bag men in the game

You don't seem to understand what value means.

Guys like Johnny Manziel and Tim Tebow had value.

There are *maybe* two dozen of those guys in any given year and that's being very liberal.

****, our starting QB has zero value.

Maybe if the players started valuing themselves as students they would see the incredible value of what they're getting.

But that won't happen because adults like you keep selling them this indentured servant narrative.

80,000 people would show up to watch **** near anybody play in their school colors.

90,000 people showed up to watch Feleipe Franks play QB at Florida last weekend.

The guy has zero value whatsoever.

We've got a lot of economics flunkies on this forum.

Omega YOU are the one who doesnt understand economics.

The whole point is its a rigged system where players ARENT FREE to set a market, bc the NCAA made a deal with the NFL to serve as a minor league system in exchange for not being able to draft kids till 3 years in college.

NFL gets a training league it doesnt need to pay for.
NCAA gets a product to sell without any competition or workforce overhead.

In a free market system, the players would be able to go pro whenever they wanted, which would diminish tbe product the NCAA has to sell.

It’s safe to say Jagr has come back Omega.

Yup. omegajagr is a racist who has a bachelor of business from UM and thinks that “thug south florida players” make his toilet paper degree look bad.

Nowhere close to 90k showed up to watch uf last week.

Announced attendance was 89,066. That's how many tickets they sold.

Which is all that matters when talking about economic value (in regards to attendance).

Does the NFL say you must got to college, or just that you must be a certain age?

That's quite the conspiracy you've uncovered.

I'm sure a powerful attorney would love to speak with you about the evidence you've gathered to prove it.

There is no market for 18-21 year olds of which only 2% get drafted or make a professional roster.

The idea that individuals who add no value should be paid (more than they already are paid) is absurd.

Certain age but what is your alternative as a player? To sit out of football for 3 years? There is no alternative bc the NFL does not have a minor league system. So in effect, they are saying you must go to college.

Neither. Only that one must be 3 years removed from high school

hahaha.webp

LOL explain bag men then??

That's very easy.

Egomaniacal boosters and fans who want to win football games and are willing to pay for it.

Soon you'll want to start paying high school football players at schools that generate a lot of revenue.
