Stop it, Moore had absolutely nothing to do with Collins,Kirkland, & Thomas...all 3 were goners by 2013 NSD...pipe dreams.
What it comes down to is this staff coveted 2 OOS kids (Fiqueroa & Lockley), over a local balla in Moore.

other then denzel perryman what player has shined in this ****** defense? elite talent comes to this defense to either fatten up and slow down or sit on the bench

who ever said he does too much freelancing and would never see the field is spot on
 
Known Skai since he was a lil one. My best friend is his cousin....wee personally had him brainwashed cause were all canes. Dropped the ball there...personally have his number to the coaches and ask Pete on here.
Dumb decision...won best nl at their camp...was best lb in broward... Plus size he's close to 6'2 and was 205-210 in high school.

I knew they were idiots when they let that slip....for a dude that was forwarding their calls..and had to be begged to have a visit. Straight dummies...Skai was a take regardless if what Matt Thomas was doing.

Should've been Grace + Moore...Grace + Moore would've been > No Lockley + No Figueroa + No Barry + No Brightwell.
Don't act like D'Onofrio wasn't looking for a LB in the mold of Moore for the last recruiting class.

BULL! Matt was NEVER coming! It was a pipe dream! Dude was avoiding the coaches and BTW coaches had to talk him to even communicate. Dude wanted nothing to do with UM, which is cool because there were other options. But with dumb and dumber leading the way we just dropped the ball. No one is even saying they should of taken Moore (which thats besides the point because he was a take), how about atleast recruit the dam kid! Have a open line of communication with him and let him know whats up, evn have a good cop bad cop with the coaches but make sure someone is letting him know whats up, He didnt even get a visit! WHAT THE **** WERE THEY THINKING!

That was such a layup, just recruit the kid, keep him in loop, get him to visit and the kid was such a die hard when you finally see you have no chance with Thomas you can close Skai easy. smdh. Disaster. oh and Collins and co have nothing to do with lb recruiting, be serious.

Golden's wrong evaluation of Moore hurt at the time. It really hurt watching that game last night. But I'm happy for him - he's balling out.

Deon might be the only one. Battled injuries and has always managed to make a play here and there. Other than that you're right.

His size theory infuriates me to no end. It's the singular stupidest thing he's done while at Miami. Literally ignoring boatloads of ballers because they don't fit his fat Jersey stereotype. Ugh, hate this man so much.

Here I have to agree. Besides Grace, Golden and staff have a Bill Parcells philosophy. Never understand coaches who go for measurable over playing ability. I really have to wonder if the staff were lead to believe that Matt Thomas really was coming. If they were then they had a lot of growing and learning to do at a Major college level. Something we all need to keep in mind if we don't win 10 games and Golden is fired. Do the candidates understand the level of deceit that goes on in Dade and Boward counties?
 
I'm not saying him not being a Cane isn't a big mistake but.....UNC kinda assisted him in looking like a beast last night. Man, Fedora and Chizik suck.

I don't disagree with the last sentence but the point is for all the Moore talk on these boards I'd still prefer Grace if forced to choose. The problem was Grohlden and Doritos starting Cornileus & Armbrister for years cause Grace was "too small", but that problem is gone and now the LBs are Grace/Kirby/Owens which is fine, and Gayot could be a solid nickel guy as well. Moore would be a slight upgrade on Kirby and the depth is thin (for more reasons than passing on Moore) but oh well, there have been MUCH bigger recruiting mistakes by this staff.

Aside from a few plugged-in guys on this board there just hasn't been enough appreciation for how good Grace is, mainly because the defense is run by reactive 2-gap dinosaurs.
