It's a process...Yeah we missed on the eval out of high school, but we keep playing him starter snaps.

We missed on the eval.

The ideal OL would beHe’s the lesser of my concerns. Still think you find one of the 330+ guys at guard or at RT and McCoy at G
It’s “missed the eval” that gets under my skin. It’s become the overused buzz phrase for any player who doesn’t qualify as a first rounder by year two. It’s now a clichè.It's a process...Yeah we missed on the eval out of high school, but we keep playing him starter snaps.

We're still rebuilding...
Because OG and OT are entirely different positions, and had we just put Cantwell at OT to start the season, he'd already have 3 games of development under his belt.If Cantwell isn’t ready at OG, why are ya’ll so adamant about putting him at OT?
Our situation isn’t good, but I promise you Mirabal isn’t just putting these guys out there if he thinks there are better options on the bench.

To your comment, I’m with you and it’s why I groan-replied. It is 100% a process and a rebuild. We lost about 15 years of experience across four guys. Our last mental images of OL play at The U was a very seasoned group playing at an elite level and who mostly had played together as a unit for a few years. We now have Samson and McCoy as vets, with the interior a major mess.
I actually like it as third down back.. Not to actually carry the ball but Lofton already pass blocks so it wont be much for him to learn from the rb position. and he can release and catch checkdowns and dumpoffs. Just need to protect the QB, I cant watch Mensah turn to a lemon when he uncomfortable again.. That was not good..Lofton is barely the answer at TE, please the RBs we paid be our RBs.
The ideal OL would be
LT Okunlola
LG Buchanan
C Rodriguez
RG McCoy
RT Cantwell
We really need to stop recruiting Bishop Gorman players. It doesn’t matter which school they attend, they RARELY pan outAin’t no way IN **** buddy the best option we got at guard!!! **** NAWW!! Dude is a ****** turnstile!! Slow feet and slow reaction. Tiny AF, Weak as ****! NO COMMUNICATION! Just throw anybody else out there! Please FFS!!
He is always missing. Same thing he did at FBI trust this staffs development at offensive line but this is really bad
SJ also spends half the game lying on the ground so 50% of the time he’s about 1 foot tall.
Wouldn't mind seeing Lofton get some carries with the big loss of Brown.
Hayden Mahoney *Seuseu Alofaituli is the Polynesian Corey Gaynor.
I honestly don’t think he is the plan at center for the future.Did SJ get any snaps at center against FAMU? If they don't trust him to get reps at center in a blowout against FAMU, how is he the future center?
This is what happens when it’s almost always 1s v 2s in spring and camp.We missed on the eval on him out of HS. But what’s even more surprising is evaling him for a year on greentree and not thinking we should hit the portal
I trust this staffs development at offensive line but this is really bad
