Since posters are talking 'Bama...

C'mon man floyd fought everyone stop I don't even like the dude and recognize he bodied everyone. So u not winning me with that....he earned the A side the hard way and was allowed to choose cause he's the A side that's business. Everyone in the underground boxing scene knew pac was juicing.....he drop that bomb and then pac never kod anyone again. Floyd knew he dropped the bug waited so it was fair....I wouldn't go in the rind with a cheater ask Cotto. The only other guy to move up and keep power like him was Shane and he juiced too. Floyd has alot of dudes on his list he smoked and everyone will say either he waited or he got them too young. It's BS he beasted he's a savage no one fought like that dude.....Canelo didn't creep cause his right had some pop that's what people don't understand. So with the whole boxing talk I don't want to hear that u not convincing me. If y'all wasn't around the scenes or involved and y'all just fans miss me with that. Floyd's an azzholes an all but he spoke it and did it I respect that. Also Canelo took things from floyd (he doesn't do them better but he's not going to lose anymore and everytime he wins it makes floyd look better)

So back to point....bama is still at their peak cause of one man Nick Saban. They replace a whole entire roster with a roster that's probably better if not no drop off. They did it for many years and all they do is win....they won on the trail and it leads to monster players. There isn't any trick to it they have the best players....most teams they play their second roster is better. It's just the truth....they are what we were suppose to be and in 00-01-02 our second roster could destroy 95% of cfb first teams those three years.
+ what seems like a 100 analysts on top of the stacked talent to develop the players while Saban is snap chatting Earl Little..

He brings up a fair point though. I just think they are always ready cause of talent. They will go ground game alot.

Oh and I'm at the hospital dog it's that time lmao
It’s gonna be a long night my man. Best wishes.

It is a good point - inexperienced players and their new OC. I’m the same way with Bama. They recruit so much depth on top of depth each year and their coaching and analysts are so well- funded, I assume the same as you but we have a lot of returning experience. That’s what’s so interesting to me. We’ll see how our experienced team does against their raw talent and new OC. That’ll say a lot.

Floyd never lost because the judges were laughable in the 1st fight vs. Maidana and in the Margarito bout.
Margarito? The Maidana one I thought MM won the first 6 then lost the rest. So a draw would of been cool with me.....he was sloppy but landed then floyd adapted and cleaned up. That's how I saw it

FIU beating Miami was not nearly so surprising as Miami beating Alabama would be. Unless you've been paying no attention to Miami or Alabama the past 15 years.
That’s a close one. Alabama stacks talent and there’s Saban too but they have a lot of new starters and a new OC.

I think the “that’ll say a lot” is where the reaction/overreaction will come in...

Alabama is good at football. **** em. Let’s go! Then get on with the rest of the season.

There ain't no secret to it man that's a players school. The HC gets all the glory....at UM the players got the glory and rightfully so.

Returning experience yes we have that but when u tell me the returning got destroyed by UNC badly that's what's returning. That's like rutgers returning the whole team they still trash

We’ll see how it goes. Interesting dynamics with our experience and their less experienced but higher ranked recruits with a new OC. I’m actually pretty excited to see how we do.

It's an interesting discussion whether we could be closer to competitive than many fans may think. The argument would be we're likely to field our deepest, most experienced team in ages. We'll have a experienced proven QB (King) or a really talented emerging one (DVD). With a likely competent (if not good) OL, our offensive playbook will be more open than it's been in years. Serious talent at RB and okay talent at WR (hopefully). No reason our offense can't score on most teams. Alabama will be breaking in some new guys on D and while they'll be talented, it's fair to expect a drop-off.

On D, we should have capable DL with Simpson a coaching upgrade, hopefully 2 capable LBs (holding breath), solid play at striker, very good safeties and capable CBs. Not a great D, but mix of experience and emerging talent. Shouldn't get abused. Should keep us in games. Maybe we'll get lucky if Simpson and T Rob impact DL and secondary. Vs. Alabama, they've got a lot of new people to figure out on O, so that can lead to some mix of tighter play calling and/or turnovers. They will likely try to pound us on the ground. We'll find out how we handle that. Lack of LB talent may cost us a lot in this game. So much of Jimmy's LB play was destroying horizontal plays, then letting DL shut down the middle. Not sure we have the sideline to sideline guys yet. Fingers crossed.

If Alabama's DBs make mistakes or we get lucky with turnovers, we might have an interesting game. Not predicting it but it's not totally out of the realm of possibility.

I know. That’s what’s so interesting about it. We’ll see what our experience means against raw high end talent.
If they told me yo pick who would win that game but u have to give up everything if u pick it wrong I would say bama. That's how I go about my picks. Am I always right? Nah but I have tbh about it....sometimes I have to catch myself from not slurping cause yea that happens to me too. In cfb high end stacked talent always wins 90% of the time. We aren't in the SEC so we never see talent like them yearly....they will say Clemson but Clemson still ain't as stacked as bama. If we saw something like that yearly it's possible it will make us tougher ....but nothing we play yearly looks like what they look like. They will say oh he loves bama he's in awe of bama blah blah blah it's the god darn truth. We play in the ACC it sucks major ***

All they have todo is run it on this D right up the middle. The only time that was hard to do when Norton and RJ were there
Shaq and Pinkney helped also.

With a gambling scheme, good LBs are really critical. Not sure why Manny didn't grasp that or deal with it sooner.

I'd prefer to do whatever we can to recruit interior DL like Clemson gets, then have Ends maintain discipline and set edge better. Fast LBs then mop up guys who go horizontal. We will have the safeties to support this the backfield. Gotta get LBs and CBs. So critical.
