I wouldn’t say just handing it over to Nickel, but would say that the QBs we have on the bench should get some series to get acclimated to game speed and see how they do. Now that the season is officially over, they need to bring them in earlier throughout the games.
 
He wasn’t yelling at Mario, but he sure was ****ed at something. We got beat physically a lot yesterday. On that play, Brown had nowhere to go. This team is rarely ready to go after the first few weeks of the season, why is that?

Not sure, but seems possible. Last 4th & 1 play I am sure wasn't a jumbo set run was the pass against GTech last year, that we missed. That may be why neither of us remember a pass since then, which is pretty nuts.

Only one i can remember that wasn't was the botched short pass to Toney that should've been a fg anyway.

This is true, when I mentioned I didn't like how we shut down both sides of ball operations for whole 4th qtr and said that is not good for a team.. I was told to quit it , lol.. everyone in nation knows we dominated those games and we were in full control (really, driving for fg in tied game for nd?).. that whole mindset of not playing to score to score but just control clock is an entire ****ed mindset..

I haven't watched broadcast but heard Mario told Dawson be comfortable wit boredom and we don't need to score because we have a fake good defense that will get cooked against any decent offensive team (alert ncst coming and pitt highest scoring in acc)

Good point, especially vs UF. I don’t remember us looking this listless and confused though. We’re 2/3 of the way into the season and it looks like we’ve never been on the field together before.

That is how we get better as year goes on.. we are in peak Mario November form..
