I missed the Randy Shannon one. LMAO.

Why doesn't the media just ask a bowl of turds who they think should be the next UM head coach?

Status: The four-star junior is uncommitted. He does not hold a Miami offer as of now but recently picked up an offer from Alabama

I do not want Mario as hc coach right now. He's number 5 or 6 on my list. But you guys can not be that blind to see that kids want him here. Recruiting South Florida wouldn't be a problem. The coaches and the kids are letting that be known. He's hired Geoff Collins and Todd Orlando and James Coley in the past at Fiu and James Coley has been much better this year than you guys are giving credit for. I think he could be put together a decent staff. My problem is his Xs and Os. If he stays at Bama, In 2 years he'll be the head guy at another big program taking kids out of our backyards if we don't get this hire right.

I'm all for Butch btw.

Understand what we are dealing with. You cannot let the BOT or James think for one second that they have choices. Butch will reload team with 1 st round picks and HOF types. He will pick staff almost a well. We cannot afford to take a shot o someone with less certainty. There is no second choice here.

We all love JJ but Howard left him a NC QB, with a Heisman QB as backup, and a team loaded with talent. It took JJ 4 years to figure out how to win a frigging bowl game - that was Jimmy Johnson! None of the names we are hearing can even wash JJ's socks. Butch recruited for JJ. By year four even Jimmy could win a bowl game.(Sorry, JJ but facts be facts). Then Dennis arrives and with Butch's leftover recruits he win 2 NC's but leaves a wasteland devoid of talent when he leaves. Enter Butch dumped with Foote's Pell Grant NCAA scandal. Butch leaves behind the greatest collection of talent even seen for yet another coach to win a NC.

Now, idiots and children are talking about some punk name Mario and some other wantabe coaches in lieu of Butch. I cannot guarantee Butch will win a NC - he can be out-coached just like JJ was sometimes, but I am certain we will have the a team that scares the living crap out of every one who is not in the NFL licking their chops. But I will take Butch and a Miami team he recruits against Saban or Urban even money right now. You willing to lay cash on Mario against Saban? Urban?

GIVE ME BUTCH OR GIVE ME DEATH!!!!

HC's pick the staff and it usually comes mostly from coaches they have worked with. With Mario you get Mario people. With Butch you get future NFL HCs. All that matters is who we get as HC.
 
Sure looks like a large army is doing all it can to keep Butch out of Miami. Even use little kids. Gee, I wonder if they are scared?

It’s not surprising that he was able to get his players to buy in, especially after speaking with him. Davis told me that when he was recruiting a player, if he asked Davis about the state of the depth chart, they would stop recruiting the player. He wanted guys who wanted to fight for their position.

In his words: Reason for Kiffin is because I've met him before and he's had great experience coaching. He knows how to win and Is a great OC. The reason for Shannon is because he's a real cool dude. He would be a great recruiter for Miami because of his background.This kid gets it
