SIAP: Bubba Bolden

There's been a lot of hype around Gurvan Hall but not much production in games/scrimmages. He spent 2018 behind Knowles at FS. Granted, he was working his way back from injury but these safety positions feel wide open among Carter, Bolden, Hall, Smith, Knowles, Keontra.

I feel like the striker position was made for Hall.

Gurvan is a do it all safety, he had the ability to play corner coming out of highschool too. He just happens to be a rangy safety but can obviously lay the hammer.

Bubba bolden is the same way, he has excellent coverage skills and is known to be a hard hitter

I'm sure Hall will do fine once he's out there doing his thing. I think he'll be really great. Versatility is why I love our DBs so much. Finley, Frierson, D. Smith, Hall, Bolden all have cover skills. Carter is an elite blitzer. Bandy is an elite tackler. We're stacked.

This is by far the most loaded Miami has been at db in a long time and it isn’t close imo. So much upside

Man are we stacked with quality DB depth. Any combination of players I feel would ball out, which means no reason for RK to see the field but ST’s. Hall and Bolden would make for a fearsome duo in the back no team would want to put their WR in a position to be decapitated. Just hope they learn to lead with their shoulders because between Carter/Hall/Bolden/Smith, some Gayturd is going home on a stretcher.

The Cb depth is not as good as most people might want, but in terms of pure athletic ability and potential, the DB depth and quality is the highest it has been in a while. I also like the competition in this area, besides Bandy every other starting spot is up for the taking.
