In an article on WWW.SI.com, one Tarrence Biggs, in an attempt to exonerate Cormani from the Colorado mess wrote: “From guns making their presence to abuse and general bad behavior. When did Colorado morph into old school Miami?” Why unnecessarily drag Miami’s name into this? Who is this rogue writer? Does he have a responsible boss at SI? Does he have an email address? Canes fans please let’s find his email address and let him know how classless and embarrassing he is. Sorry I don’t know how to link the article. Someone who knows please do.

Terrance is ignorant of Colorado's own history, as he fails to recall that starting in the mid-80s, Buffs coach Bill McCartney made it a point to recruit inner-city kids with gang affiliations. I mean ****, the disgrace of a publication Terrance writes for even did a story on it back in the 80s, that opens with: "There are a few things a university of colorado campus policeman won't leave the office without: handcuffs, his copy of the Miranda warning and a University of Colorado football program." Read it here.

Maybe Terrance missed it because he was more of an ESPN guy back then...oh wait, ESPN did an Outside the Lines special in the late 90s called "Turf Wars: Gangs & Sports" featuring a segment on those same CU teams.

So the question isn't "When did Colorado turn into old-school Miami?" the question should be "When did Colorado turn back into old-school Colorado?"

I honestly don’t mind all that BS. And it just adds to Miami lore. If we could only play like we used to you wouldn’t be offended either lol!

I thought that magazine folded. Maybe that was just the hard copy print.

Doesn't calling them classless again imply that at some point they were not classless?

No sense fretting about SI. Site is viewed only by relatives & close friends. Article probably relied on AI & may not be a real person. SI will soon be no longer.
