Great, he's grown.

Now lets just hope when we really start winning, these guys don't let it slip or get complacent with stuff like this.

ehhh grown may be a bit subjective here and you will see why at the end of this comment.

However, with JG I dont think you can take that part of the game away from him. It legit is who he is (emotional) but I do think you can confine it to your own sideline. He did the thumb down gator chump multiple times. I thought at one point it would be a flag on some BS like how the upside down horns for texas was considered taunting or unsportsmanlike.

I was at the game 10 rows behind our bench. JG was jawing as soon as he was on the field and was getting in the DBs heads/ Refs did a good job separating DB/WR a few times after the whistle blew. I saw where he got hit and he did show restraint in not retaliating but it was after JG had already baited him multiple times.

Then late in the third JG was barking at gator fans in the stands lol **** was hilarious to the point some GA or whatever walked by and grabbed him and spun him around. Lasted about 30 seconds he turns back around, chirps more, then it was time for offense to come on the field and he did the chomp at the gator fans who he was chirping with then did the Marshawn Lynch nut grab backpeddaling onto the field.

I have no problem with anything JG did here lmao

I noticed multiple moments where an old Hurricanes team would have done something stupid.

On Restrepo's spin/juke on the big run, a WR had an opportunity for a crack back block and pulled out.

Sam Brown should have scored when he got stopped at the 1, but at least he didn't reach the ball out and risk a goal line fumble.

No late hits. No roughing the passers I remember. Discipline.

None of these WRs can afford to **** around with the young guys behind them

Common thread for the last 15 years is guys having no concerns over losing their reps

Sam Brown next on the clock
I am hoping Brown is still getting his feet under him or perhaps he was sick or tweaked something. Whatever sprinkle of information we heard in the offseason has hit in a big way and multiple people have said Brown looks like the best WR at times and can be a NFL WR. This was the one thing that was not true Saturday. Watching him live he looked skinnier than our other guys, and as people mentioned on his swing pass he gets ragdolled at the 1 when it seemed like even a tiny bit of grit teeth effort would have naturally carried his momentum into the endzone. I also noticed he did not have much burst coming off the line, few times Cam looked his way and it seemed like he was only 1/2 way through his route, no where close to being ready to get a ball and was not moving that fast so Cam would go elsewhere. Maybe he tweaked something because I agree he did not look like someone who should be comfortable with an idea being entrenched as the starter.

Oh me either, I was laughing, especially because the way it started it was not like the gator fans were harassing him that I could hear. He just turned around, happen to make eye contact and started talking **** then that got those few fans riled up and away it went lol

Well. Good thing it was ACC refs. They may actually like us now.

Yeah I’m a big Brown fan. His talent is obvious.

I’ll chalk it up to just being a bit off in Game 1

Everybody was doing the gator chomp then thumbs down. Thats not a problem. Last year he was going out of his way to move into the DBs faces to talk ****. Its a major difference. And talking **** to the crowd is never really a problem tbh.

And I didn't mean like Grown as in fully grown, I meant it as in he literally has grown from being undisciplined to more disciplined. He can show emotion, that's fine. He doesn't need to be the most Grown adult on the team. He just needed to have grown to not actually harming the team, which the actions game one .... he showed growth in...
