Did we ever confirm that clock coach he allegedly hired actually exists?
I know there are alternative scenarios...there always are...but Mario made the right and best call. In the moment...I was with you...but nah. They were going for haymakers and wanted time off the clock. Leave a little on the clock, Andy puts it on the streets, and they start dead stop with a QB with a concussion...good strat. But I feel you.He almost blew it saving the timeouts at the end.

he bet on his defense to get a stop and saved 3 timeouts for his heisman candidate ... he didn't almost blow it, the defense almost blew itHe almost blew it saving the timeouts at the end.

we're six games in ... flowers are dueDidn’t want to jinx it but Mario and/or the staff in whatever way has improved in this area greatly so far this season.
Mario is moving in the the bronze age...![]()
It was the right call by far. Saved the timeout incase they got the first down.
It's been a masterclass in game and time management this season so far.
Masterclass this season is a bit much. I remember a timeout (against Ball State or FAMU) on 4th and 4ish in their territory, where we took the timeout to avoid a delay of game just to punt. That was a terrible call... but other than that no egregious missteps. Definitely improved and worth complimenting![]()

In his presser Mario was talking about not trying to slow Cam down to cut down on mistakesThe caveman discovered fire!
