Definitely, not dumb. Interesting to think about. Hill is a bit of a hired gun. Shaq et al more invested is my guess.

I THINK DALLAS HAS NFL TALENT I THINK SHAQ AND PIKNEY HAVE A GOOD SHOT AT MAKING A NFL ROSTER AND HELPING A TEAM WHEN. Shaq MIGHT BE THE FASTEST BUT **** HOW MANY LBS RUN A 4.5?

Unless there's some hope of boosting draft stock or just because it's your last game, why would you not let some new guys get playing time in a meaningless game?
