You need at least average guards and center on the OLine in short yardage. Ours have been putrid for a decade. No back can overcome that ineptitude up front.
If he was to get hurt we have no replacement for him. We have to walk a tight rope for a whileI don’t inderstand why we never put the QB under center in short yardage situations. No QB sneak option (TVD is a big dude), and RB takes handoff 5 yards behind LOS from a standing start.
So knowing that wouldn’t you try and run somewhere elseYou need at least average guards and center on the OLine in short yardage. Ours have been putrid for a decade. No back can overcome that ineptitude up front.
How creative does one need to be to impose your will to fall forward 3 feet?Don’t need Don. Lashlee becomes an idiot when its short yardage. Zero creativity.
i always think.....this m f r isn't going to run it straight up the middle, again, after it NEVER working, but i know he will and i want to punch him in the faceHow many times are we going to run the ball up the middle against an 11 man front. Fckin moron
More creative than his one play. Should we be able to bully them for a yard sure but easy isnt the Miami way under Diaz. Things go from 3rd or 4th and 1 to 3rd/4th and 4 cuz we only go shotgunHow creative does one need to be to impose your will to fall forward 3 feet?
FFS.
This. Baffling. Especially considering the one time Thad got the ball he ran into a d tackle, ran through him and still gained four yardsWe have Thad and the staff chooses Knighton for short yardage lol.
Or RPO and release a tight end. Of course we did that last week and Mallory almost turned the ball over.So knowing that wouldn’t you try and run somewhere else![]()
Yep but there’s others you can use besides Charmin Boy..Or RPO and release a tight end. Of course we did that last week and Mallory almost turned the ball over.
i remember someone posting an excerpt from auburn fans in regards to Lashlee when we hired him.Unfortunately, Miami fans are seeing first hand the issues Auburn fans had with Rhett. Would love to know his thought process when deciding to call certain plays in certain situations.
